I hope you guys are bookmarking these threads he's participating on....
I have mentioned in the past that this guy has written papers for me. Three, to be exact.
He's very good for social issues and other various topics.
Just piece them together and change some wording.
God bless.

What is up with you Don?
What is with the pro black, pro liberal bias?
You aren't dumb, but somehow you can't work out that the world is heading towards a major division, but you seem to want to fight against it.
There is no solutions, there is no point fighting hard right opinions. Why? Because you liberal PC guys help fuel their distrust.
The more you try to tell people there is no problem and they are all imagining things, racist, Islamophbic, hypocrites(christians), etc etc the more these people will want to force their will.
It is very clear that the ignorant, racist lot will combine with those who simply oppose Islam and those who follow it will create enough of a wedge to push moderate muslims together with their extremists.
I'm resigned to the fact that all muslims will be my enemy. They are already at war with us. And I've already mentioned numerous times how they are doing it.
Unless you are muslim, you are the enemy Don. Hope you undertand that now

I'll make the bold statement right now.
within 10 years we will have major problems with civil wars and terrorist attacks.
Within 20 years, there will be major action against Muslims whether that be a war or ethnic cleansing in Europe/west.
There will be major terorist attacks in australia and brittain.

well one would be, awhile back when the Malaysian airplane went missing, he was arguing that it was okay for people to make fun of the situation as a way to "grieve". Well, as if strangers far from that situation needed any form of grievance is a ridiculous notion. But the most ignorant fact he was missing is the core essence of how and why humans are able to coexists, it is that each of us have a level of compassion and understanding, because if we didnt have it we would all just rape each others moms sisters and girlfriends and kill each other and steal each others property, it would be a miserable coexistence. You can see those in the real world who lack it, such as people like isis soldiers. It is an example of how he stretches to hard on his arguments to the point it becomes false and unreal.

I don't believe our society is going to be ruined by terrorists or what nit, but the examples you listed against are outdated and from another period of time. We live in a country where "safezones" are a real thing. "What is your preffered gender pronoun?" Is the appropriate question instead of assuming their gender based on their sole appearance. No, i do not believe these people would get up to work on the daily if they were being bombed.

A lot of that stuff will go by the wayside when people leave college and simply grow up. It's a silly trend the way PC is brandished as a badge of honor and is probably just a temporary outcome of how technology is changing communication and the flow of information.

I don't even think it's a bad thing in and of itself but the current trend of using it as a social media trend is definitely stupid. Eventually it will become less common as people grow weary of it. Right now it's at its peak but it will eventually die down.

Your kidding me right?
England has the worst problems for no go zones and clumping with places like Bradford, Birmingham, Luton.
If and when england reaches 20% Muslim, you will see how big the problem is.
They already have a reported '100 enclaves' enforcing their own sharia law in these places.
http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/no-go-zones-census-data-shows-100-in-britain/
This is a real problem and this has potential to really fck up civilised societies as we know it.

I rather you stay out of my thread so I can continue bashing the very same people you defend while you sit there and pretend to ignore me.

'Ignore' is an admission of defeat.

Historically, that has always been the way. But the 60s generation did not follow this trend, and large portions of them still refuse to grow up. I don't know if we haven't become so atomised and disconnected from our past that this stuff will last until some kind of crisis forces people to snap back to reality.
I don't think technology just affects these things temporarily: it significantly and permanently alters human behaviour in ways we still don't fully understand; people of my Grandparents stock seem like something of a dying breed to me (the uncomplaining, frugal, resourceful English stoic type). I don't see a readjustment away from pettiness or frivolity without serious conflict of one sort or another.

A quick point on originality (as you seem to bring this up a lot): when you get a bit older and wiser (i'm rooting for you), you will come to realise that there is almost no such thing as true originality (something that is incredibly rare, and there are always antecedents and borrowings, no matter how novel or original a thing may be); the point is to assimilate the work of others so as to produce a synthesis of your own; to use the ideas of others to better understand the world in your own way - the same arguments are made over and over and over again, all throughout history, but they are still somewhat original when applied and adapted to a new set of circumstances. There is nothing wrong with this, and it is done by everyone; the more you read, the more you recognise how unoriginal everyone is (even someone like Nietzsche didn't have any completely new ideas - his philosophy was original, but the ideas behind it really weren't). Parroting others, on the other hand, is quite different: i haven't done that for years (although you incessantly do it: i'm pretty sure i've seen near-verbatim borrowings from the arguments of Christopher Hitchens and the like by you). So you're a hypocrite too.

You always say that. Where exactly is he googling from? Or are you just throwing claims around without actually knowing if it's true?
Dresta, by the way he writes, I can tell a lot of it comes off the top of his head. Whether it be from something he learned from a different source or his own experience, he combines all of it to make his own opinions about the topic at hand. Not sure what more you could ask. He's dropping knowledge and wisdom, not composing a symphony. The requirement and need for creativity is a bit overemphasized here.
The dude just practically explained the whole process to you in that post and it prob went right over your head. :hammerhead:

Yeah, on second read he sounds incredibly jealous and bitter. Just one of those guys that can't even admit to themselves they suck. The more defensive he gets the worse he comes off. :lol
It's always sad to see Don's posts. He's a downer. A giant black hole of nothingness.

Whose alt are you? :coleman:
Same question to the dude who has 1,100 posts in a decade.
Try not to make it so obvious next time. :yaohappy:

The man admits himself he's just regurgitating someone else's thoughts. No one's asking for a symphony to be written. But everyone here has google... So why do you need to read through a 5,000 word essay introducing Hume or some other dead famous person's thoughts on an issue? :confusedshrug:
If that's what floats your boat, more power to you.
We go to elementary school together or something?
He, Starface, UK, etc. have no other outlet for their drivel. The only place they can subject someone to their special brand of misinformed ignorant bullshit is 800 word posts on a basketball message board. It's just the by-product of a unique combination of no education, a shitty career, and the lack of anything resembling a social life.

Let's boil it down for real, shall we?
We're all smarter than you.
You're a jealous try-hard in everything you do.
Everyone laughs because you look like a girl.
Brevity ftw

Oh, how typical: in runs Doofus with his special brand of sour-faced bitterness, hoping beyond hope that someone will get upset by his consistently inane insults; so sure he is about the greatness of his own life, that he spends a good portion of it coming on the internet to lay down the law and let everyone know what losers they are in comparison to his mighty self.
Praise Doofus.
How could anyone compare to such a specimen? It couldn't be more obvious what a raging social-life he's had: i mean, it's written all over that face of his. But let's stop this rubbish: everyone already knows your opinion about me (you've only repeated it 1000x), as i'm sure most know mine of yours.
Just in case they don't, laying my cards on the table: i think you're a conceited and vainglorious mediocrity, probably a pampered and preened child, who now lives and works in some academic bubble at a mediocre-to-shitty institution somewhere. You have nothing to be proud about in life, so you come on here to pretend like you do. You are sad, and, at times, downright pathetic. You seem to take a perverted kind of joy in being as nasty and spiteful as possible, often to people who have done or said nothing to you - basically, you're deliberately and needlessly cruel, and i find people like that disgusting.
How about we don't speak of (or to) one another from now on? Because, contrary to what you may think, i do have a life of sorts, and for some strange reason, you keep trying to make yourself a part of it.

Noone ever even dares to challenge this man.
Whenever someone tries to argue with him they resort to a two line personal attack that includes nothing of substance. This guys ETHERS are that hard. Simply put noone can hang with him.
Dresta could make a living with the sh!t he writes. On ISH a lot of it just goes way over these kind of peoples heads. may i recommend expanding your target audience? Most basketball fans arn't exactly the most prolific thinkers.

A couple years ago it seemed like his posts were all fluff. Lately, I will admit hes one of the more knowledgeable guys.
I knew it all along.. and finally, the BTE admits too :applause:

Instead of complimenting him (something he dislikes as praise leads to hubric complacency leads to stagnation), why don't you 9, challenge him and question him and keep him on his toes to become sharper?
That's a far greater gift than flattery.

The BTE feels that Kobe has had a far more noteworthy and overall superior career to Lebron James if you were curious Jam.
Quiet Fagnax. You don't speak for us

The BTE feels that Jameer needs to take a step back and look at his views on women, particularly middle school aged girls and younger.
It also feels that Jameer can think of a better insult than fagnax. Its beneath jameer.
Nope.
