GSW - If KD joins the warriors, they will become one of the best teams in the history. It might take some time for them to gel but they will get along eventually, just like the Lebron Bosh and Wade. However, the procedure for them of acquiring KD is more complicated (e.g. clear cap space or sign and trade).

LAL - If Durant wants to be the man of the team, he will goto LA. Not only that he will have a nice young core to rebuild with, he also gets to live in LA!

OKC - The only reasons KD would stay in OKC are money and loyalty. OKC can offer him the most money and Westbrook, a MVP caliber player but they still won't win though since KD and Westbrook's games don't compliment to each others.

At the end of the day, it is really depends on what KD wants. If he wants rings, he will goto GSW. If he wants fame and a hollywood life, he will goto LAL. And if he wants money and being loyaly to his team, he will stay in OKC.

Cant wait til free agency!

He should go to the kings, Durant, Rondo and Cousins. Instant contenders.

If he comes to GSW, that's the most ***** move in NBA history on par with LeBrona's collusion.

If he doesn't want to ring chase, be in the lottery or be with a loose cannon, he should pick elsewhere.

Well OKC is not his hometown and he did not promise to bring any championships there
And he sure as hell won't broadcast his decision on national TV

I wouldn't rule out Houston. He played College ball in Austin and Harden is his best buddy.

I'm pretty sure Westbrook is his best buddy, which is why he's most likely to stay in OKC.

Why is everyone saying KD to GSW?

How is that even possible?

Curry getting his max, Klay and Dray got huge contracts.

Barnes, Iggy, Bogut, are key players that GSW are tryna keep. How are they going to have spare money to sign KD? :facepalm

OKC, Wizards, or LAL

Well they will have to convince Iggy, Bogut, Livingston and Barbosa to take less money and let go of Barnes.
It's doable but I doubt they'd make an active effort to push it unless Durant personally asks to sign with the Warriors.

man some of you have poverty basketball minds, two superstar perimeter players just won't work. Everything on GSW complements steph right now, as soon as there comes another big dog in Durant it upsets all kinds of chemistry because deep down both players want to get their own. Right now GSW is geared towards simply winning and everyone has a job to do and noone minds doing it because they all know steph is the best player.

As soon as skeletor comes along there's two mouths to feed.

It worked for Lebron and Wade:confusedshrug:
Not to mention Durant and Curry compliments each other much better than since neither needs the ball to be effective.

Yeah but Wade was over the hill, past his prime and everyone knew it including him, he didn't have to maintain a particular amount of touches or stats to be kept happy even though he ended up doing very well for himself in that regard.

We are talking the two best players in the league in their absolute prime, there would be chemistry problems for sure. Neither of them would want each other.

Neither seems to have huge ego though. Curry always look to get his teammates involved and feeds Klay, Dray or whoelse's got the hot hand.

Durant is a pretty willing passer as well and didn't mind share the ball with Westbrook.

There is no chance he is going to LAL or GSW. Why would anyone go to LAL, management sucks. GSW is fine as is, no need to fix something that isn't broken and actually works really well. I'd bet he stays in OKC.

LAL is somewhat reasonable, the advertising contracts + being "the man" in a revived Lakers team could be incentives enought.

GSW is impossible, it would set the bar for success much too high. There'd be practically no way for that coupling to live up to expectations.

I also can't really see him staying in OKC. Their overall trajectory's not pointing in the right direction.
