Excellent rapper. Raps about things that are real to him
I disagree with a lot of it ofc. But how ****ing stupid would I be if I blindly love and agree with everything he says because I'm a fan of many of his songs

His views are extreme at times but at least he's a politically conscious rapper. I used to listen to him a lot when I discovered him but after awhile, I got bored of it. I remember listening to him a lot during finals week a few years ago when I discovered him.

He's definitely smart, sharp, and quite knowledgeable and conscious.
Whether or not he's got good judgment or the right take on things; time will tell.

incredibly outspoken. some things he says have a lot of merit, others don't.
he is the favorite rapper of 75% of college white kids who are first discovering rap

Like someone else already mentioned, he's a politically conscious rapper that rambles about the same thing over and over and gets boring really quickly. He feels many of his people are oppressed and is a supporter of ceh guevrras political ambitions.
Anyhow, he has like 2 songs that captured my interest: dance with the devil- he raps about one of his friends who needed to prove his worth to join a gang, so one evening these ambitious gentlemen set out to accomplish this. They see a woman walking alone and take their turns raping her on a roof. After his friend concludes the rape session, he discovered the woman was his mom. He is unable to stomach this and jumps off the roof and dies.
You never know- he falls in love with a smart chick who is a virgin and is careful with who she initiatws a relationship with. Girls falls in love with him then she tells him to fck off bc she apparently has issues with becoming intimate with a guy. He goes to jail for scrapping some cops. Gets out of jail and goes to visit her. Her mom answers the door and begins crying when she saw him, hugged him up also. Tells him to go to her room. He finds a letter that she left him. The letter reads "i was going to give you my virginity but i was scared because i had aids from a blood transfusion" . So she died while he was in prison.

I met him at Rock the Bells one year.
Very unassuming fella. We chatted for a couple minutes. Was pleasant enough.
Small dude, probably like 5' 5''

One of the best live performers regardless of genre.
His a acapella performances has more power than a full rock band.

The difference between joining a U.S. street gang and an Islamic extremist gang is they can see the face of their mother through the veil, and they only commit suicide much later, surrounded by westerners

He's the Nietzsche of rap. He's intense and I appreciate that.
Like others have said, he's hit or miss.
Take a song like "Point of No Return." Exciting as hell. But some of the stuff towards the middle of the song is like, "WTF is he talking about?"
He says things like, "I'm like the Africans who came here before Columbus." No context. No explanation. He just wanted to share with you something unsubstantiated he read online that he believes because it's shocking. So he makes it into a simile. All his songs are littered with stuff like this.
Were there Africans who came here before Columbus? Who knows? I'm mildly interested because I heard it in a song... and maybe that's the point.
At the same time though I think there probably weren't, because he says way too many outrageous things like that for me to take any one of them seriously.
