Do you guys not acknowledge that Lebron turns his teammates from playmakers into play-finishers?

This is very clear, statistical fact, but there seems to be a lot of denial going around.

Serious question, do you not think that everyone here knows this is what you dream about doing to MJ every single night?

They don't know it, because if they did, they'd agree that Lebron doesn't elevate his teammates.

If they really knew it, they'd understand that when the competition level is highest, Lebron's teammates can no longer thrive as the predictable play-finishers his ball-dominance turned them into, which explains why they routinely underperform their RS performance during playoff losses.

Obviously, this didn't happen to Jordan - even from his rookie season, Jordan's supporting cast didn't underperform their RS performance during playoff losses.. MJ's sheer force of will and off-ball style was ideally-suited to elevate teammates once the competition kicks up a tier in the playoffs..

Your old posts show that you didn't know it until I informed you of it..

You had no idea Lebron reduced his teammates APG while increasing their assisted rate, thus turning them from playmakers into play-finishers.

And if you didn't know that, you definitely didn't know that when the competition level is highest, Lebron's teammates can no longer thrive as the predictable play-finishers his ball-dominance turned them into, thus explaining why they routinely underperform their RS performance during playoff losses.

Of course, you aren't familiar with MJ's game, so you weren't aware that even from his rookie season, his supporting cast didn't underperform their RS performance during playoff losses (see 1987 first round, where Oakley averaged 20/15, up from 14/13 in RS).. MJ's sheer force of will and off-ball style was ideally-suited to elevate teammates once the competition kicks up a tier in the playoffs..

MJ elevated teammates, while Lebron didn't - you were not aware of this.

There's always a lot of denial when we talk about Lebron.

Stans deny: 1.5*/6, colluding, choking, flopping, superstar treatment by refs, ...

3ball, I really think you are right on this.

Lebron's teams can't win based on playstyle, they win based on pure talent (having many all-stars as teammates), and even those all-stars can't play at their best because Lebron-ball hurt them

Yes he does. He doesn't diminish their skills (well maybe now that Inthink about it), but he needs the ball in his hands and his teammates adapt accordingly. Is it the best course of action? We shall see this summer
