I've been off gaming for a WHILE. Been playing the PS4 my ex got me very very minimum. I have my little sisters original Wii collecting DUST, been used like twice for the past 3-4 years.

I primarily want the Wii U for Supersmash Bros, Mario Party, Mario Kart & I've heard Splatoon is good.

I won't be using that BULLSHIT tablet controller shit. Definitely the controllers that you can buy with the supersmash. But I'm afraid that's all I'll be playing..

Is it worth picking up? What Hard drive do I need to get to be safe? How much will all this shit cost? Who else plays Wii U or supersmash? What else games are there to get? How accurate is the motion control? The original Wii sucked in terms of accuracy and this is important for Mario Party, hated the original Wii controller. Do I have to use the original Wii controller for Mario Party?

Also that new Pokemon tekken game is going to be crazy. Probably everything any Pokemon fan could of dreamt of having in a fighting arena type game.

Wii U, yes or no? Who got one?

Not into that zelda bs either.

No. Only ******s and poor kids have those things.
If jameer tells me he has one I'll get it

I have one. I have a lot of young cousins that come over and instead of having them make a mess of my place, I get them all controllers. It keeps them busy :oldlol: I know it's not the best way to spend time with them, but they ain't toddlers anymore that I can play wrestle with or spin around.

It's fun, but I'm not much of a gamer. Have the 2 games that came with it and Mario Kart, that's always a favorite. I heard bad reviews about the Mario Party on this system so I didn't get it...and I'm not big on the super smash bros series. I don't recommend it unless you have groups of people over often. It's not a fun system if you mostly just play alone. It's a party system.

I get together with my boys and play smashbros once or twice a month. Shit is lit!! Same crusty gamecube controllers with fukked up analog sticks from over a decade ago.

New smash is the best smash game in the series. And I absolutely swore they'd never top melee

Only reason I'd say you might want to hold off on it is Because of the Nintendo NX, whatever that ends up being. I still think the WiiU is a decent system with some good games, it just seems like Nintendo's focus has moved to that going forward.

Great system to me. Mario Kart 8 is incredible. And Mario Maker I can't stop playing. Splatoons awesome. New Zelda. New Starfox. Cheap system. Do it

The real question is that are there any good 3rd party games?

Well, the entire idea of a wii u is for exclusives lol, don't think anyone truly buys a wii u for 2k or cod

Smash and Mario Karts could be pretty fun with or without alcohol
