Oh man it will be a WCF for the ages if it eventually happens. I love fundamental basketball the way SAS play it so i have to say the Spurs. Let's hope it'll be a 7 game series.

Definitely the Spurs.

And if they meet in the playoffs, the Spurs will beat them.

Spurs have the perimeter defenders needed to potentially slow down their backcourt, have bigs who can punish them, better bench, even better coaching/adjustments and now possibly have an elite player in Leonard. On top of this, the Warriors have trouble winning in San Antonio.

Definitely not this simple. It's the same thing they were saying last year about the Clippers and spurs series.

....the Problem is, the Warriors are about 5x better than they were last year, and 10x better than last years' clippers.

I agree. I just think that this is the Warriors era of the western conference. I respect the Spurs' resiliency, but I don't think it will be enough over the course of a 7 game series. I think Aldridge, West and Duncan will lack the lateral quickness that's required to complete team defensive stops repetitively. We'll see though

Young X
01-13-2016, 04:59 PM
^ Yeah, we'll see.

Spurs are the only team I can see giving them REAL problems in their conference.

Obviously, the Spurs for me. But I worry about GSW's micro ball - LMA and Duncan won't be able to play together and that'll disrupt their defense and rotation.

Wouldn't mind West coming in at times too and giving him some jabs, get under the hot headed cnts skin, West would cream this little bitch.

Needless to say Warriors aren't gonna play the spurs little game of slowing the pace down. This idea that Spurs offense is going to be able to milk the clock on their offense and get the shot they want is ludicrous .

Spurs have great D but what does that matter when you have Dray pushing the ball at the point and or Curry setting up a high percentage shot. And all their other arsenal plays on the O.

Not saying its not going to be an epic game and may be close but were gonna make these old vets work for it. edit: I also want to see Dray battle against Duncan.

Staunch LeBron nut-rider here.

I'd root for GSW, especially if they break the wins record. It'll only make the Cleveland title that much more impressive.

.

You're talking like The Spurs play LeBron finals ball.

They don't milk the clock on purpose, they just take longer at times because they try harder to find an open shot.

You're also overrating the Warriors offense to a degree.

Their D could do with some extra work too tbh

Cheers

If the Cavs can slow down the game vs the Warriors then the Spurs can as well. Spurs are the most disciplined team in the league.

GS won't have an answer for Aldridge or Kawhi (who statistically has murdered the warriors over the course of his career)
