so why have pierce, josh smith, lance and wesley regressed this season?

They're going to improve. Josh Smith will have to contribute and probably Lance. I knew Aldrich was capable of this, even with few minutes you could see that he was a rebounder and shot blocker. Better offensively than DJ which is kind of funny. This team will be better than last season at least because of the improved bench. Maybe it won't show record wise but in the playoffs it should pay off. Wes Johnson hasn't regressed, he's actually being used how he should be used when he does play (Doc). He's best as a spot up shooter, he can't create his own shot...CP3 helps with that. Pierce is washed up but will give you a good game once in awhile. Josh has been in the dog house. Doc needs to improve his coaching, that's what I'm most worried about. Less washed up Crawford iso's.

SMH at pierce being washed up?? Yes he's not the allstar he once was but he's still contributing and has been playing great ball lately. Some very efficient games since Griffin went down.

Pierce is basically a spot up shoot at this point in his career. He's not taking anyone to the hole. CP3 makes guys like old Pierce, Wes Johnson, and other spot up shooters on the team thrive.
