Love was a horrible defender even in Minny thats why Cavs have guys like TT and Mozgov. What I wanna see more is run the offense through Love postups in the 1Q to get him going from the start. We saw a similar drop off for Bosh in the Heat but he made up for it by being a much better defender. Love needs to learn how else to contribute without having the ball in his hands otherwise.

there's a reason why we all called Kevin "Empty Stats" Love. LeBron wanted him because he's a stretch 4 who can help LeBron pad his stats.

I said in a previous post for their big 3 to coexist, Kyrie needs to be the one taking a backseat scoring except for the 4th quarter.

Kyrie is clutch. I believe in the last 5-6 minutes of the game, you feed him 1A to Lebron 1B.

Love is a moody player. I've seen him play good defense when he has rhythmn scoring and rebounding. When he's just out camping at 3, you see the lazy mistakes and the David Lee like defensive lapses.

Kyrie needs to get him going and not worry about scoring 30 PPG. cleveland would benefit from getting 18PPG and 9 assists with adequate defense from Kyrie.

I agree. Love needs to be put in position to score to truly play an all around game. It's unfortunate but he can't just turn it on. I've seen him play and hustle on defense when he gets scoring opportunities favorable.

Against the Spurs, he really will struggle because he simply can't finish over bigger guys like Duncan and Aldridge.

Against the Bulls, he can feast because other than Gasol their bigs are not smart and as crafty as him.
Miami is the only team with Bosh that can make it difficult for him.

Draymond Green literally can shut him down and has become a smarter defender. Its unfortunate but hes going to look bad against them.

Love truly is an empty stats player... he's soft, not athletic, not physical, slow feet, short arms, awful defender. He's skilled enough to put up stats on a bad team, but on a good team playing against top competition he looks barely replacement level (see both games vs. Warriors and game vs. Spurs this year).

I have no respect for Lebron stans but Bosh and Wade are clearly far superior to Love. Bosh's versatility in particular and ability to play both sides of the ball makes him much more valuable.
