It sure has shaped up that way huh?
Maybe the only real rivalry left in the league and it isn't even team vs team it is team vs player.
You can tell the Spurs love to play and beat (of course) Lebron.
You even have David West who in Indiana was the closest to a rivalry in the East, now he comes to join the Spurs to beat Lebron too.
Lebron's legacy will be defined by Spurs. If he can't even beat a 40 year old Duncan, then no claim can be made for his top 10 case.

And that my friend among A BUNCH of other things is why the league sucks so much now a days!
It's not even a team vs team rivalry and the main characters in Duncan and LeBron are ALWAYS cordial to each other and also have boring non-polarizing personalities.
True rivalries are DEAD!

How can he have no claim to top 10 when he's top 10, and, as a matter of fact, consensus top 5 by 80 year old seniors (in the Bay Area) who've watched the NBA since basically the beginning of time?

Yes true, but a game like yesterday you get a little taste of what it used to be like right?

lol, he probably couldnt beat me or any of us if i was in that team or Warriors... duncan wasnt a problem especially not right now, its everybody else around him compared to what he has to work with around him to try counteract that.... as far as top 10 case go unfortunately his accolades/accomplishments etc. wont be stripped away....

There's just no hatred or over the top intensity in these games anymore specially when the top stars go against each other! The AAU fraternity bullsh! coupled with the absurd amount of money these guys are making have taken away a lot of the passion the NBA used to have.
They were life and death battles 30 years ago!

Actually I wasn't even mocking Lebron, I actually enjoyed the game very much and Cavs have a fun team if they're actually being challenged.
That's the problem though with all this stacking, there's basically only 3 teams with stars AND role players to make for interesting matchups. Even Thunder are weak, but that's also a culture and coaching issue. We see Bulls without Gasol can barely beat the worst team of all time.
Too many teams, just cut Philly entirely from the leauge and let Hinkie trust the process in the D-League.

Spurs have been shitting on Lebron for years now. If that miracle in 2013 didn't happen Lebron would be on suicide watch
