As usual, Chris Haynes coming through with the dynamite report. This is really hard-hitting stuff.

You put any serviceable player in place of "Markieff Morris" and ask players of any team if they'd "welcome him," the answer is always going to be a semi-interested "Sure!" while they continue tying their shoes or doing whatever it is that they were doing before Chris Haynes wandered up to them with a dumb question.

Haynes: "Hey Kyrie... would you welcome Batum if the team traded for him?"

Kyrie: "Sure."

Haynes: Get this on the front page of ESPN.com, stat.

Chris Haynes is the Brian Scalabrine of the Cavs' beat writers.

You know you're getting desperate to salvage a superteam when you are keen on getting in this headache.

I want to see this team implode and the blame game start.

Lebron has been sheltered a lot from hardship, it would be hilarious to see him having a meltdown when this team doesn't work out.

Love for Keef?

Love for Keef?
Um, no.

At this point, Phoenix would probably get rid of Morris for $1.50 and a jawbreaker.

Marqueef would actually be good for this team. Even though he's a fake tough guy, the Cavs could use another. And he would be great feasting off of LeDefer's passes.

Suns of a few years ago were a good spoiler team and he was a major reason why. No doubt he is a colossal headache though.

Cavs don't need any roster modifications at this point. Irving is still trying to get his groove back and Love is alright. Just dont put him in a position as the rim protector.

Simultaneous trades:
#1 Morris for future 2nd rounder (absorbed into TPE)
#2 PJ Tucker for Andy. This creates another TPE for Cleveland, although it's only like $5M.

Gives Cleveland another 3&D wing and a big who's worse than Love on O but better on D. If Mozgov struggles with his health/mobility, they might need another big since ideally you play TT only 25 mins. Kaun may not be ready for regular mins (not that he'd get a ton as a rookie anyway imo).

Gives a little more flexibility in terms of lineups and gives some insurance for injuries. Would cost a LOT to add like $7M in additional salary but it'd make CLE more stacked for sure.

Why the fyck would phx do this get your head out your azzThey wouldn't.... it was from the Cavs' perspective. If you're taking on a dude clearly disgruntled, you may be in a position of strength in a negotiation.

Other teams were asking for one of Phoenix's young players in addition to Morris in any trades recently.

Morris has negative trade value at this point. Phoenix is going to have to sweaten the pot if some team is to take him on. That's just reality.
