With Duncan being the most accomplished of Lebron's generation, I just don't see Lebron ever catching him. Duncan was never propped up by the media and the NBA, and he modestly shits on his entire generation while he peers down at them. With the way everyone blew up Lebron James, and the fact that Cleveland will never win anything, I don't see how Lebron's opportunity to use his talents to be the most accomplished of his generation wasn't a waste.

Duncan didn't even get propped up and he's still the most accomplished of his gen.

Within the next 10 years, someone will come along even more physically gifted than Lebron but with the will of a champion and do everything Lebron did and more, and everyone will just say "Yes... that is what Lebron SHOULD HAVE DONE".

Why can't people just appreciate this guy for what he did, accept that he came up short relative to the best player of his generation, and move on? Why pretend that he's more than what he really is or that he's going to be more when history has shown this to not be the case?

I agree, LBJ is a good player that had too high of expectations bestowed upon him.

Will of a champion? Wtf there's more factors in winning a title ex. Luck, timing, chemistry etc.

Why is it that when a guy has like 5 or more rings, that people say they got those rings because they wanted them bad enough and had the heart of a champion, but when a guy has only say 2 rings, the reason is not enough luck, timing, not enough help, chemistry, etc?

its a team sport. Will is a factor But you gotta have other factors going the teams way aswell.

bran is a beta. Hes a afraid to fail. So he settles for less than just be nothing. Hes like wilt. The 2 of them would rather go for MVPs than rings. So their game is built to win MVPs and not rings. They would rather go for layups instead of contested fadeaways coz efficiency is more important for MVPs.
