I honestly have no clue how this is going to work out for Miami, to me it seems like either they get KD or they get Whiteside and probably lose Wade in the process. They can't get both, at least in my eyes, but Heat fans and writers are always saying we need to trust Riley. All I know is this will be one interesting free agency, not for the Heat but for the League. I predict though that they'll miss out on KD, sign Whiteside, and roll with a core of Dragić/Bosh/Whiteside for a few years until it either works or doesn't.

Where do you think Wade would go if he leaves? Hard to imagine Wade in another jersey other than the Heat..except for the Bulls. I'd want Wade to be a lifelong Heat.

Whiteside is currently averaging 4.0 bpg and in only 29.3 mpg. He is 6-10 1/2, with a 7-7 winsgspan, a 9-5 reach, and a 31.5 vertical.

A peak Chamberlain was believed to have averaged over 10 bpg, and in the research that has been done, he averaged over 5 bpg in his last season. And Julizaver has Wilt with a recorded 591 blocked shots in 81 post-season games (out of the 160 he played in.) So, in his known playoff games, he averaged 7.3 bpg.

I seriously doubt that Whiteside could sustain the same level of play for 45.8 mpg (Wilt's career average), but his 4.0 bpg in 29.3 mpg would average 6.3 bpg in 45.8 mpg. BTW, Serge Ibaka averaged 3.7 bpg in 27.2 mpg in 2012. Or at a pace of 6.2 bpg in 45.8 mpg.

Chamberlain was 7-1+, had a 7-8 wingspan, a 9-6 reach, and likely a 40 inch vertical. Put a prime Chamberlain in today's NBA, and he likely would be blocking at least 6 shots per game. Hell, a 35 year old Wilt had playoff games in which he blocked six of peak Kareem's shots.
