Kyrie has had some great weaves through a defense over the course of his career so I'm not sure where it would rank in that respect, but probably his best so far this season... especially considering it came against one of the best defensive PGs in the league.

It's hard to even appreciate the level of difficulty until the super-slow motion angle at the end of the clip. Wow.

Was at the game, he looked tentative in the opening minutes. Once he got going though he had Bev on skates.

Best handles in the game:bowdown:

He's been looking as agile as ever splitting defenses now. Doesn't look like his knee is bothering him at all.

His playmaking ability has also grown a lot too due to his ballhanding. If he (and Lebron) can learn to stop overdribbling and increase his court vision to get more teammates open shots their ball movement could reach Spurs level potential.

Kyrie is the most entertaining dribbler. Curry is #2.

This dude is unreal.. goat handles and goat finisher below the rim. LeBron's punkass stacking the deck as usual. :facepalm

Kyrie would demolish LeBron 1on1 IMO.

His ability to consistently nail those tilted, weak-hand layups in the paint is really impressive to me. Kyrie is bananas....

He would demolish just about anyone in a 1 on 1.

And isn't saying "lebron stacking the deck as usual" about a year and a half late?

Anyway...to the OP...this was vintage Kyrie. Need him to get more in the flow of things and have more games like this.

Irving's very underrated, mostly because his injuries have kept him from flourishing, like they did Curry for a few years. If he can stay healthy he's a HOFer, MVP candidate, and top 8 player.

I wouldn't be surprised if Irving vs. Curry arguments flare up in a year or two when he finally proves himself and wins a ring or two.

Seems very natural the way he handles the basketball. Steph didn't have the handles he has now early on. To his credit he worked hard to get there. It's hard for me to imagine where his career will end up simply because we haven't really seen the best of him without being in the shadows of LEBRON, one of the best players to ever play.
It would be intriguing to see how a team would build around him, like the Warriors did Steph. But I don't see how that can happen anytime soon.

If you didn't notice guys he crossed was Kobe and Harden, dribling in straight line would of been just as effective if not more as he would move faster.

So you're saying he performs unnecessary movements and has a game based on flash but little substance and bad defense. Nice.

How is he going to beat lebron 1v1... Lebron just backs him down and scores every time. Just let's Kyrie take pull up 2s until he misses. People on ish seem to think flashy handles equals best 1v1 player

Well, he was statistically the most efficient isolation scorer in the NBA last year. Actually, he was 2nd behind Harden if you factor in free throws, but when it comes to purely getting baskets, Kyrie was #1.

What that means in a game of 1-on-1 is anyone's guess, but it probably gives you insight into why people have the opinion that he'd be pretty deadly in that format.
