Yea so that douche who drunkenly beat the Uber driver and got fired for it is suing the driver for FIVE MILLION DOLLARS, and said any injuries the driver received were his own fault. Him and Skreli or whatever it is should start a business together.
The lawyer is a ****ing genius, he's just gonna get paid fees by this dumbass and get so much publicity.

"Your honor, the Uber driver was just asking for it. He forced me to lose control. He should bare some culpability if not all."

unfortunately if the driver broke the law in CA by video-recording, that doesn't help...

Wow this is just very bad publicity for the executive.
I have the sudden urge to get some steak tacos from Taco Bell now. And maybe punch the drive thru lady

The whole no such thing as bad publicity does not apply to lawyers, especially when taking on a losing case.

This guy should never have a job again.

The law says no audio.
Video recording is fine, otherwise, you couldn't use surveillance tapes for anything.
On a side note.... This guy is a super dick, and I hope he loses everything.

And be sued by Taco Bell, which should also be sued for shitty food, for public defamation.
oh the horror

I'm shocked that a lawyer would even take this case. You sued the driver you insanely pounded in the head while you were drunk?

The exec is doing it to burn the driver's money. He can afford a long drawn out civil case, the uber driver probably won't unless he successfully counter sues.

A lawyer would take his case for good publicity and a cut from the counter-suit.
