Imagine if they didn't blow teams out regularly.
I mean he'd probably be worn out came playoffs but his stats would be through the roof.

That's how GOAT Jordan was - at 34 and 35 years of age, he was scoring 50% of his team's 4th quarter points in playoffs and Finals.

I guarantee that prime Curry won't need to do that - his supporting cast is FAR more stacked - look how little he needed to win the chip in 2015.

Can you imagine what MJ's stats were in his PRIME?.. :facepalm

the second three peat bulls were more stacked than the modern warriors. who gives a shit about mj in this thread anyway? curry is beasting and you're sleeping on it.

Shooting over 60% from 3 in 4th quarters...

He's a really special player.

Just when someone gets excited about what Curry is doing you have to introduce reality and facts and prove that what Curry is doing is inferior to what MJ did. :lol

That picture gives EXTREMELY STRONG support to the idea that curry would be irrelevant in a previous era where teams didn't have because it didn't exist or didn't value 3 pt shooters

If the line didn't exist, he wouldn't have ever practiced the range he has to the extent he has and thus would have never amounted to anything because he gets raped close range

...and that's a good thing? you're impressed?

i'm a big fan of mj and old school ball, but that's just bad. lebron's clownin' ass i can understand, but why curry.

Funny how 3balls stats don't include shooting percentages. I wonder why.

It's important to put things into perspective. You can't have some yung buck thinking Curry is doing something in 4th qtrs that hasn't already been done to a greater extent by another player.

His point was with regards to removing the 3 point shot. A pump fake on a 3 point attempt and then getting open to take the 2 is done by Curry all the time.

Take away 3 point line and a pump fake is not nearly as effective from that far out because the defense is less likely to want to bite because a shot that far out is the same amount of points as a closer shot.

Bingo. Additionally id be curious to see his shooting close range on the season that wasn't directly near the basket... the graphic with just the 4th quarter data isn't in his favor

The 3 point line was put in before Curry was even born. Might as well speculate on what would happen if the basket was 12 feet high.

This is understood to an extent but we might as well never, ever compare all time greats of different eras ever again if that's the prevailing mindset.

Change that to a graphic it's hard as hell to read and understand, at least on the phone.

For the season Curry is shooting 49% from 3-10 feet and 10-22 feet even though he actively avoids those shots.

He shoots well from everywhere.
