I really like Gay to LAC...it would add a whole new dimension to their team and make them a lot tougher. Especially against golden state.

Another thing that is weird is that I think teams will start building around Draymond Green now. Power forwards mobile enough to guard him (well that pick and roll) are important for teams.

I always thought Gay was underrated. He has been playing off-ball this season with Rondo being so ball dominant. I think he'd be better with Paul and Blake.. both good-great passers.

That Gay for Anderson deal was pretty bad for Pelicans. Smart for them to reject. He does not fit there at all.

Bottom line, I'm a HUGE Rudy Gay fan, but he isn't the answer to their problems. Any deal that doesn't package Deandre Jordan shouldn't be taken seriously. Your only defensive stopper on the team is one of the biggest liabilities in the league on the opposite end of the court.

Clippers should absolutely not do this. What they need more than anything at the 3 spot is DEFENSE and SPACING. When you have dominant offensive players in Paul, Griffin, and Reddick to some extent, adding a fourth offensive player does not add much value.

If he can be effective without the ball, possibly. From what i've seen, the dude thinks he can be a winner by pounding the rock in ISO situations and jacking up shots; he's not that dude.

If he focuses on D and scores off plays being made for him, he'd be a great fit.

Gay at backup power forward vs Golden State is a great matchup. He can counter their small ball lines ups and can guard Draymond.

Only thing is that Doc Rivers is a shot coach and I'm not sure he can come up with an effective game plan. They should hire Thibs
