last time he was in LA to play the Lakers he made mention to the media that its impressive how they sell out every game even though theyre going thru a rough patch and how much team support means to players. if the Lakers are willing to trade randle+ for cousins then they're a suitor for KD

If Lakers are willing? Are you assuming that Kings are begging for that deal?:lol

Dallas is another destination he might consider if they get a center.

Whiteside ?
Nowitzki
K. Durant
W. Mathews
D. Williams

Of course they would have to get rid of Parson.

He's going to sign a 1+1 to stay in OKC for one more season I bet. No clue where he'd go in summer 2017 though.

OH GOTT. that would be.... so perfect.... mix of young players and veterans

but no chance at all. Mavericks will end up just signing jump chucker Martin. Trust me :facepalm

Bran did that. How does that work? Let's say he does a 1 + 1 with the warriors like a 2 year deal for 50 million. If he opts out after year one do the Warriors own his bird rights?

why would he leave?

None; he's staying put in OKC.

He has a solid rapport with his teammates, trusts the championship-direction of his franchise (even while pundits and fans dissent), and he doesn't want to want to send off the wrong signals by defecting away from them.

Moreover, the media-surly Kevin Durant would likely dread the media coverage and reactions towards potentially signing with another team; as such, he most likely will not find it worthwhile to leave, since any team that could accommodate for his role and contract demands most likely will only be an inconsiderable upgrade over OKC at best.

It is lamentable. Even if Billy Donovan proves to be the effectual coach, I do not trust the front-office staff to construct the consummate team to get over the hump; Durant seems to, however, and the prime of his career may end ringlessly because of it.

Realistically- OKC.
All time greats stay on their teams and lead them to victory. All stars know it. All fans know it. It is his team and comfort level.

Potentially - Washington
Star PG and Cap flex, but other than Beal and Porter Jr that roster is getting old and not very effective, Does he really want to play at home?

Crazy - Golden State
Insert KD and this is probably the greatest team of all time. Dynasty for 5-7 years. But KD would be a team jumper and never considered a great for joining a team that Curry and DG already own.

Pretenders -
Atlanta (Can't have Horford & Durant, so the roster is limited)
Lakers - Only chance is if they can pull a Lebron style coup and bring in multiple stars. Their roster is okay, but unless Randle becomes a fringe all-star overnight there are so many holes.

Darkhorse - Chicago
Jimmy Butler is a top 15 player and locked in long term. Who wouldn't want to match up with the best 2 way SG in league and could allow KD to dominate on offense. Noah can be had cheap or he can walk. Gasol walks most likely freeing up more money. Taj can be kept or traded to clear up space to have money. Still leaves Mirotic, Bobby Portis, McBuckets, MDL JR. and Rose. Rose will be either gone in 2017 or traded as a dumped contract. Bulls have immense cap space in 2017 so KD can recruit or help decide make up of a team that would already have 2 elite positions. I doubt this happens, but it sure is appealing.

Bran still gets credit though. I think Bran has proven that you can take short cuts and still get full credit. Both Durant and Curry are only 27 years old. Barnes-23, Draygod-25, Ezeli-26, and Klay-25.

I can see him staying put. He does seem like one of those guys who will give his team enough time to get another chance at a ring. If they don't follow though in a few years, then I can see him going elsewhere.

I'd say OKC with the only real contender being Washington, although he did seem offended by their wooing of him even though he's still a member of the Thunder
