I'm pretty sure it was clear he was saying in comparison to the Spurs. I for one don't think they are more battle tested than the Spurs. But hey to each his own.

Being battle tested doesn't matter if you're already vastly superior to everyone else

They are a very young team that hasn't had the tough playoff series that other teams have had. So in that sense Shaq is right.

But like WayofWade said, does it really matter? Probably not.

They have had an easy schedule so far in the first half of the season so yes they haven't been "battle" tested yet. It would be a big upset if they lost to the spurs or cavs in the playoffs.

They are not vastly superior to everyone else.
The Spurs and Cavs have good chances of beating them in a playoffs series.

True, I did over exaggerate a little bit, but my main point was (in my opinion) they're better than everyone else, battle-tested or not. That being said, Cavs and Spurs have good chances at beating them in the post season; the Warriors however are still the favorites

The only contender with more experience is the Spurs.

Nobody in the league is battle tested when held against the likes of the Spurs.

Not that big of a deal imo...

Supreme talent (with a championship under their belt mind you) > Being battle tested

See, this is a quality post. When you came to the realization that Curry would get his ass handed to him against the 88-91 pistons, you sound like a rational poster.

Curry would score well against any team, including the Pistons. The Pistons D was all about protecting the paint. Shots at the rim are the most efficient shots and those are the shots they defended so well.

But when you have James Edwards and Laimbeer in your starting lineup you aren't that well equipped to chase people off the 3 pt line.

Shaq is definitely right, altho probably accidentally.

Warriors played teams loaded with injuries throughout the whole playoffs last year, while they were completely healthy. They haven't had to face any adversity yet.

It's not their fault. And it doesn't mean they WILL fold under adversity. Just means they haven't been through it yet.

They played Houston luckily in the WCF last year, and the Cavs without Irving and K Love.

He's right.

Doesn't mean they aren't the best team in the league though.
