View Full Version : Steph is becoming way too ball dominant. It's hurting his team

There's no reason why he should be chucking up 15 threes and 26 FG's while Green and Iggy get 7 and 3 shots, respectively. :facepalm
Dude is getting way too ahead of himself.

But his teammates suck. He is carrying them. Lol
If we are calling this a point guard then so is Kobe.

Green and Iggy were 1-10. Great strategy to give them more shots.
Meanwhile Curry was 7-15 from 3.

He definitely needs a reality check. It's not just Curry though. The whole team is playing they can just show up and win. A lot of that has to do with relying on Curry too much.

Yep, seems to be a tendency to get out of the flow of the game and just expect him to have a crazy night. With their record I am not surprised they perhaps take one too many teams as automatic W's. Still a pretty young team. This should be a nice reality check for them.

Players are missing their shots plain and simple.

How about this; do you think Greg Popovich would let Curry take 30 foot transition 3's? And would Curry be better or worse off with those constraints?
It's my opinion that a bad shot is a bad shot, regardless of who is taking it. If you wanna take a 30 foot jumper, then wait until the end of the shot clock, because we can get that shot at anytime.

That's why I said that's where coaching comes in. Kerr didn't play that either. But nobody was complaining when Warriors were on the 24 game win streak.

It worked last year because there defense was all time level good. They could handle the variance that occurs with these type of shots. Now they are playing that same level defense

Hes the MVP...they won it all...they might win 72 games...and if they dont it will be 68-69. They are probably gonna win another ring or two.
I think its all good.

Currys current assist % of 32.9% is right at his career average. He was at 38.6% last season. Kobe's career average is 24.4%.
And Curry is having the best shooting season in league history. If anything he should be shooting more. Kobe is a notorious bricklayer and should have shot far less over his career.

Anyone have an issue with the best 3 point shooter that ever lived taking 15 threes? I sure as hell don't

I will say it doesn't look as good as his first month, but it is still damn effective. Random losses are to be expected, yet people like to look for panic buttons.

The crazy, almost absurd thing is as great as GS has been so far this year... SA is only two games back of them.
And if GS doesn't get HCA against SA? I don't see them beating the Spurs.
So I'm not sure if Curry is too ball dominant or schedule getting tougher etc for GS. But they **HAVE** to keep winning for the regular season or they won't be winning anything come June....

If someone is allowed to take 15 threes, its Curry.

OP is trolling y'all by using that inane argument people use for an agenda whenever the player they hate puts up big numbers and still loses.

Why doesn't it have to be any special reason? The greatest team in history has even lost games to inferior team. No one wins 100% of the time as there is a bit of luck involved. The warriors are fine. They've lost like what 4 games? Whatever the hell they are doing they need to keep doing it as it's been extremely productive so far.

Exactly Fudge is a Huge Curry hater, he will deploy a few of his alt's to agree with himself on that subject.

Curry has been criticized by some because they say he can't take over a game like Kobe did, and like Lebron and KD do now. But he hasn't had to because his team blows the other team out more often than not.
But in the rare instance (like last night) where his team his struggling, he takes over (like he did last night). That's what superstars do. They take over and, when needed, dominate the ball because his team is struggling. If Green and some of the other guys were making their shots he wouldn't have to dominate the ball.

That was my point. If they slip up just a little, SA will have HCA against them. And the Warriors will have to play the Thunder in the second round.
