Varejao use to lead the league in charges taken per game. I remember seeing this guy down on the ground more than on his feet, as he would skillfully slide into the path and draw the charge. Cavs could always count on him to net his team an additional possession per game. This guy went from 1.21 charges per game in 2007 to just 2 charges taken in 2013 and 1 charge in 2014.

Certain players started flopping and they started accusing AV of flopping when he would rarely do it. Has anyone's game been as impacted by others intentionally flopping as much as it impacted AV's skillful ability of taking the charge? If not for guys like CP3 Harding, and lebron flopping all over the place. we would probably see guys like DMC taking more charges than just 34 like he did last season.
