Not often you destroy a player on a block and a dunk on the same play.

Turiaf hasn't been seen since.

Had some all-time great made this play, it would be repeated over and over again

I can't believe anyone said these already. :facepalm

There is nothing more alpha than scoring and then stepping OVER your opponent while he is laying on the ground, period.

PG also wishes he could shoot 42% in a season.

Pretty much any time someone tells their defender what they're going to do and then they do it. Could anything be more demoralizing?

Bird and MJ have several examples. I'm sure it happens often with the egos in the nba.

I rarely comment on threads like this, but, Wade on Varejao was the father ship of all alpha plays. The way he dunked it on Varejao & did a little Iverson on the step was f*cking brutal. I couldn't wrap my head around of how that happened, how it was humanely possible for the dunk to look like that -- it was just sensational.

Alpha as f*ck.

Agreed. AV had his ankles behind his head due to Wade putting him in the hucklebuck.

Anyone have a gif of Paul Pierce jawing at Al Harrington for like 10 seconds and then pulling up for a 3 in his face?

Another good one is 39/40 year old MJ grabbing some poor fool's shot on the way up (was it Marcus Fizer?)

The last few plays of the 98 Finals have to take this one though. In retrospect it looks like fate/destiny was adjusting itself around Michael Jordan's will. I've never seen such greatness look so easy and so inevitable before. I wonder what fans were thinking while that was going on.

Seriously. That is a top 10 inbounds block of all time and the hangtime on the dunk is crazy. Love it.

This is the alpha moment for me.
It's practically impossible to not react in some way, and there's been videos that expand the image and kobe doesn't even blink.
