Democrats are the Harlem Globetrotters at this point
GOP is on the last straw. If they lose this one, they'll become the Washington Generals for the foreseeable future
Trump is their only hope

Sure he would, people like OP vote. At the current rate, in about 12 years or so, it won't even be a debate anymore. Even if Republicans win this election, and the next, eventually, Democrats will win out as long as they keep offering free stuff.
What are the Democrat messages? Free health insurance? $15 min. wage? Lower entrance standards (for police, fire, military) in the name of 'equality'? Free college? All of these things, you don't need to do anything to get, just... vote.
Given that blacks won't vote Republican no matter what (which is why they are falling further and further behind every election cycle, but that's for another discussion), and Hispanics want to be able to come here illegally (cause legally is just too much work) and will obviously want an easier time in doing so... It's inevitable at some point, Republicans will be phased out. Looking at birth rates, you can see blacks and hispanics (the poorest of the poor who, you would think, should avoid having children), are having more children at a younger age than other races. These poor, uneducated babies having babies just create more problems. But, they can vote, so... you know.
Rest assured, 15-20 years, if Democrats can make the 'free stuff' mantra more acceptable (kinda like when we changed food stamps to look like a credit card so it wasn't embarrassing), more and more voters will want their cut.
“When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.” ― Benjamin Franklin

The Reps aren't doing themselves any favors either, they aren't even putting up a fight, Trump? Jeb Bush? Cruz? Rubio? The Reps at this point are just sticking to what they think being a Republican is rather than mounting a proper campaign.

That Border Illegal Immigration is a huge issue. No one dared to touch it until Trump came along. The intelligent people know what's going on. I mean, it's crazy how Illegals can actually vote in some states (They can get a drivers license)... This is what has happened to California... Once a red state, now that the Hispanic demographic has become a majority it is strongly democratic. The link here is that low income, low IQ (Check the stats Jeffrey, FACTS), and these types of demographics almost always dominantly vote for socialist communistic-lite government... It only makes sense really, they want free shit. Not blaming them, it's a selfish world out there.

Not doing themselves any favors?
Remember 8 years ago, or 4, whichever you want to look at, when the Republican party was a bunch of old white men? That was the left's talking point... old white men who are out of touch with the population.
And now? The Democrats are, on average, almost 20% older, and are all white. Completely white. But, why don't we hear anything about it now? That's the liberal media bias. And it's not getting any better any time soon.
It is what is is. I think Cruz is an excellent candidate. I think Rubio isn't bad either. The others... well, I would take Bush over any Democrat candidate (:banghead: ).
I mean, Hillary has been under federal investigation for years. YEARS. And has lied and violated several federal laws. That's the candidate the Democrats have put up. Really? You know why it doesn't matter, cause Democrats don't care. Was it Jesse Jackson Jr. who got sent to jail for fraud and still won his election in Chicago? That's the kind of people Democrats can, and do, put up, because their votes don't give a **** and don't know any better. They just don't, and it's sad. Or the Virginia state delegate who resigned his position after he was charged with possessing child porn? He decided to run again, and won! And won!! Jared ****ing Fogle running for office, and he won.
Like I said, it is what it is.
If we can't get them out, we'll breed them out, never been more true than now.

No, leftists PC policy will bring forth our demise if they were to win. We see it happening, right now. Today. Do you not see our country rotting from the inside out? Read up on Rome, they went down the same path. Almost identical, from debasing the currency to political corruption (yes, Planned Parenthood did donate $20 million to Democrats, namely Hillary, despite receiving tax breaks), weakening of the military....
It's right there in front of you. Read up on it sometime, seriously. It's shocking how similar our stories are.

Yes, that 20% was problematic. There will be people on both sides taking money from causes that typically don't side with their party. I cannot refute that. There are still people who believe Earth is at the center of the universe - there will always be pockets of people who go against the wind.
Now Republicans took $240 million more while knowing global warming is taking place. Here's a bigger question: why are they still refuting climate change in 2016? Only few candidates don't -- Kasich, Bush, Fiorina, Christie, and Graham. Bush and Fiorina have said they don't want to do anything about it; Kasich and Graham have no shot of winning. That only leaves Christie. Christie has been recently slowly going against it. I wouldn't trust Christie.

Find me these scientists.
1969 it was a new ice age.
1) Nigel Calder was not a scientist. He was an environmental journalist. Big difference.
2) 1969 was about a decade before we had the data that showed Earth was warming. CFCs can cause cooling while killing the ozone -- 1969 was before we truly understood the phenomenon.
1974
Serious droughts since 1972 increase concern about climate, with cooling from aerosols suspected to be as likely as warming; scientists are doubtful as journalists talk of a new ice age
1977
Scientific opinion tends to converge on global warming, not cooling, as the chief climate risk in next century.

In 2009, we only had 50 days. 50 days!! AHHH!
Gordon Brown was a politician NOT a scientist.
Ok, so now we are back up to four years. Phew, that was close.
James Hansen was a scientist, and yes, we didn't die out in 4 years. His point though was that if we don't do anything in a short period of time, it will be out of our hands.
If you know anything about the greenhouse effect, it actually amplifies over time as more greenhouse gases are let loose. More greenhouse gases = more heat stays trapped (temps rise) = even more greenhouse gases stay trapped. It accelerates over time. We know this for a fact and at some point, it becomes runaway greenhouse effect.
We are not there yet as Hansen predicted, but the window is closing to safely do something without doing something drastic. If we do something drastic in 50 years when sh!t hits the fan, who the hell knows about unintended consequences? Better to start right now before we wait until it becomes extreme.
I don't know, I don't really care. The climate of our planet is waaaaaaaaay down most people's list of shit to care about. Not everyone's, but most. It's not to many Democrats because they use that to say 'this is why I don't vote Republican' when in reality, they think about global warming less than I do, which is practically never.
You don't care? That's a problem. And many people do care. If you don't think they care, it's because you're sticking with like-minded people. Republican candidates and conservative networks like Fox News try to portray a picture that nobody truly cares about global warming when many in-fact do. Yes, there are many that don't but when you say "most people", that's false.
I don't deny global warming, but I deny its on the scale you think it is. I think if we stopped burning anything and everything right now, that our weather would STILL be ****ed up 50 years from now. Agree? Cause based on how much weather changes every 100 years, I'd say I can predict it will do whatever it wants, and no matter what I say, I can always come back and say 'well our research at the time... but now we have better research....'
1) It sounds to me like you deny it.
2) Weather and climate are 2 different phenomenon. Go search it up.
3) Btw, good job copying your "evidence" from http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/how-the-global-warming-scare-began.454271965/ ... You don't even have an original argument.

I showed you journalists, politicians, scientists, who all predicted the same thing. And you still think this time is the time it's for real.
http://www.people-press.org/2015/01/15/publics-policy-priorities-reflect-changing-conditions-at-home-and-abroad/
And no, nobody cares. You see that bar next to Global Warming waaaaaay down the list? That's how many people care. I'll even give you environment to make you feel better. I even care about the environment. But I don't care about global warming, and neither does most everybody else. About half of Democrats. And practically no Republicans.
But if you care, that's perfectly acceptable. I said that from the beginning, some people do care. But I've shown you, from my point of view, why it's not important to everyone else. It is what it is.
People still deny climate change? I think it should be debated how much we decide to do about it. In any case, it's obvious that the things that cause climate change even if it doesnt exist need to be phased out. Spray cans, fuels, etc. I dont think anyone argues that those are harmful even outside of climate change

Read the article.
Currently, 51% say that protecting the environment should be a top priority for the president and Congress this year, which is little changed over the past two years. The percentage of the public rating environmental protection as a major policy goal hit a high point of 63%, after George W. Bush’s election, and fell to about 40% in Obama’s first years in office.
As with nearly all of the 24 priorities asked about, most Americans give at least some priority to environmental protection. While 51% rate it as a top priority, another 37% say it is an important but lower priority; just 11% say it is not toot important or should not be done.
Opinions about the importance of both priorities, but especially global warming, are divided along partisan lines. Since 2013, the share saying that dealing with global warming should be a top priority has increased 16 points among Democrats (38% to 54%) and ticked up eight points among independents (31% to 39%). Just 15% of Republicans rate this as a top priority, while 21% view it as an important but lower priority. A majority of Republicans say dealing with global warming is not too important (31%) or should not be done (also 31%).
Partisan differences over the importance of protecting the environment are not as stark. Two-thirds of Democrats (66%) and 35% of Republicans rate this as a top priority. Most members of both parties (94% of Democrats and 82% of Republicans) say it is either a top priority or an important but lower priority.
51% is a majority and so a majority rank the environment as a TOP priority. Climate change or global warming or whatever you want to call it is a MAJOR component of the environment. The word "global warming" has been politicized one way or the other so many people tend to stay away from it. If you want the environment to be a high priority, it has a direct impact on global warming. Global warming actually is a sub-category under the environment. Next.
