While it's true that he's not a good fit with Lebron and Kyrie... he just signed a max contract and his value is pretty low. By all means, they should trade him but try to remember that Kyrie gets hurt often as well.

I will take 2/7 at least he won can't say the same for a lot of superstars in this league.

Some of them win without even getting FMVP

They should have never traded for him in the first place.

Bron should have never left Miami and I think he's finally starting to realize it.

He will win one in Cleveland. I believe in him.

And it will happen this year vs OKC Thunder :oldlol:

They can either trade Love for a Luol Deng type, or trade Kyrie for a Patrick Beverly type. Either way could change the makeup of this Cavs team for the better.

I remember when you said Love would be the MVP after he was traded to Cleveland. Good times.

You reckon anyone says anything while they're watching film?

Given the choice to start a franchise, I'd take someone like Love over Bosh, but to be your 3rd option, and a guy that has to work hard and do the little things, Bosh>Love.

I said earlier at the start of the season that this team was way better than the one Bron had in Miami, but I take it back after watching enough of the Cavs this season. Irving is a fantastic option next to James, but has tunnel vision at times, while Love is clearly the odd man out. Ryan Anderson and Jrue Holiday would work wonders for the Cavs. That should be the trade they look for.

They don't move the ball like Miami did either. That's partially from experience though.

When were these thread titles when he was playing as good as bron or better in the first 20+ games?
Seriously, Cavs don't have half the wins they do know if Love wasn't playing.

sure, trade a 18/8 C + 16/5/5 SG for a 16/10 guy.

It wont happen, I think vs warriors he might need to play center this way they can match against D. Green at the five or even Bogut. They need a quality SF that can score and defend. So to get one they need to trade a quality player like Tristan Thompson with J.R. Smith. this way they also shift some salary. Like Barkley mention they need to play smaller against G.W.
Example.

C Kevin Love A. Bogut
PF L. James D. Green
SF Gallinari A. Iguadala
SG Shumpert K. Thompson
PG K. Irving S. Curry

C K. Love D. Green
PF L. James H. Barnes
SF T. Ariza A. Iguadala
SG. Shumpert K. Thompson
PG K. Irving S. Curry

Kevin Love at the five spot would give problems to A.Bogut. and James at the 4 would create havik. If they can get C. Anthony for T.Thompson Mozgov Varejao Mo Williams. they would be great. Or trade for Rudy Gay.
K.Love

I love your idea of Bron at the 4 and Love at the 5 for close games. They won't trade Love it's way too early. You just have to eat that contract he was given.

Ideally, Lebron should be checking Draymond. Draymond is their most important player after Curry. If you can take Draymond out of the game, you basically get rid of their offensive flow. Lebron is going to need to guard Draymond.

OMFG thank you! I've been thinking this since it first happened. Heat might have won last year against the new look Warriors. If he was still there they might be favorites to win this year. Foolish choice.

I don't think they should trade Love though. If anything they should trade Kyrie and Jr. for Russell Westbrook! I know it would never happen but it would be a dream to watch.

Love at the five might not be great defensively but on offense it would be huge. Bogut would be in a bad position, and if Lebron James is at the 4 he could definitely effect D.Green. They should try some pick in roles with Lebron and Love that would hard to deal with.

Another trade example Mozgov for L.Stephenson.

C K.Love
PF L.James
SF L.Stephenson
SG. Shumpert
PG K. Irving

Imagine this line up on offense and defense. Love would move either Bogut or D.Green out of the Paint and Cleveland still has reliable rebounders.

Its call strategy, this will disrupt golden state completely.
Its not always about having the talent its about having the right mix of talent with a good system. On both offense and defense.

Tristan Thompson is good but he won't lure Bogut out of the paint. This will present Cleveland with a complete different dynamic yet very deadly. Again this is a line up is made especially for Cle to go up against Golden State, but in order for it to be effective they must use it in the majority of their games.

Kevin Love ****ing sucks. Worst NBA player of all-time. Can't be worse defensively. He ****ing sucks. A dead anchovy would intimidate more than this ****er

Earl Boykins would DOMINATE and OBLITERATE him on the post

with that line up of love at the 5, i still feel GSW would have the advantage. green vs love at 5: advantage GSW. then iggy at 4 v lebron. barnes 3, etc etc.

while that line up spaces the floor for CLE, they suffer IMMENSELY on defense and gsw would relentlessly attack the basket. but itd be a hell of a series to watch.

GSW could potentially run a 5-0 offense with a constant 2man game of curry/green. but i guess the same can be said of CLE. either way, it's certainly a different era in basketball

Makes me want to see the 2012 Heat go against this GSW team.

Battier vs Barnes
Lebron vs Iggy
Wade vs Klay
Chalmers vs Curry

Not really it would force Golden State to put Bogut on the bench and wear out Golden states best players. Cleveland would be able to double team a lot better.

Example again:
K. Love
L. James
L. Stephenson
Shumpert
K. Irving

They can also go with this line up on occasions.
T. Thompson
L. James
L. Stephenson
Shumpert
K. Irving

Last year Clevelands lineup was different in the playoffs but was effective, but they didn't have players enough to rest their PG and to rest L. James.
Rest was a key factor in the lost. The team hasn't fit in well enough against Golden State. that's why they have to chain their strategy.

Remember Detroit had a relatively small lineup against Golden State and gave them trouble. And at Center T.Thompson can play a role similar to A. Drummond.

bogut was already relegated to the bench last finals. i dont think you can really double too hard against a great passing team like golden state/san antonio. a match up like that comes down to execution and advantages on switching defensive assignments.

besides lebrons impressive play in the finals, TT is what kept them alive through 6 games (thus this years contract). Love factors in different in that line up. he brings many positives, but just as many negatives.

Cavs should trade Lebron, honestly. Dude has no heart. I could tell JR Smith gets annoyed at times. If anyone should be getting iso plays all game, it's him and Kyrie.

Bogut was at the bench but they still had D.Lee who helped them out immensely even put D.Green in the bench for a while. Besides Cleveland hasn't tried that line up consistently. It something that they should just give it a try. I believe it might work just fine. But who knows for sure. If Love is a liability a PF probably he be better at center against G.S. W.
