Dude is a beast. Legit all-star right now. His season stats aren't that crazy because he always starts slow but he's been like a baby Durant since he picked it up.

Idk about Draymond though, he's more Steph than anything. If there's a Draymond type guy on our team it's GA.

Since lineup changes (moving Giannis to PF, Jabari to SF), Bucks have won 3 out of their last 4 and Giannis is putting up 23/12/4 on 65% TS in those games.

They've both been playing like stars lately. Jabari has been nice af in recent games too.

How was Henson been?

Inconsistent..he'll have a double double and 5 blocks one night, get destroyed the next night. You have no idea who you're getting on any given night. I still want him to start over Monroe though. Athletic finisher around the basket, long rim protector defensively. Even on his bad nights he doesn't give up free layups on defense and slow everything down on offense like Monroe.

Yeah I was actually very intrigued by the Bucks defensively potential with a Henson-Middleton-Giannis-Jabari-MCW lineup. Do you think having Monroe hinders Giannis and Middleton's development?

What happened? Monroe used to be a beast. Looked like he'd keep up the pace with Drummond at one point.

Pleases me to hear this about Jabari. I really want him to shake off his early doubters and premature bust rumblings. He seems like a stand up kid too.

He's still a pretty good scorer from what I've seen but he is still that liability on defense.

He's a really good player (offensively), just an awful fit for this team. With Giannis, Jabari, MCW, Middleton our 1-4 is long and athletic as f*ck. Built to run teams to death, all we need at center is someone who can catch lobs and clean the glass. Henson kinda does that. But Monroe is a slow, grind it out low post center who takes up entire possessions on his post ups. He's a very skilled post player so he somewhat deserves his post touches, but it totally ruins the up tempo flow we need to play with. Instead of GA torching teams in transition he's watching Monroe back a guy down, kick it out, re-post, etc for 15-20 seconds. Just a bad fit.

He would be terrific on a team like OKC where they have a shot blocking PF in Ibaka to compensate for his defensive problems, but would really benefit from his low post scoring.

Interesting. Well how would you compare him to Kanter? Also a poor defensive C who is an adept scorer.

Funny, I was actually gonna compare him to Enes in my last post. He's mediocre to bad defensively but not nearly as terrible as Kanter. Offensively they're about the same skill level, Monroe is slower but is far less selfish so it evens out. Monroe is basically a more team-friendly version of Kanter imo, but still not ideal for today's game.
