Complete meltdown over at RCF forums. These are the types of posts over there:
The only thing I can think of is you guard Steph with someone bigger who can then switch onto Draymond and not get killed. Maybe LeBron, and have Shumpert or Smith defend Barnes. See how that works. Make them play some 1on1 ball by giving them mismatches? It probably won't work but it's something to try. Let Steph see if he can take LeBron off the bounce and let Draymond see if he can play with his back to the basket against a smaller man.
Or even put Shumpert on Steph and then switch and see what Draymond can do with a mismatch on Shumpert. It's gotta be better than just letting him be free with the ball in the middle of the court.
EDIT: I'm sitting here thinking of how great it would be to have another big wing on this team. Iguodala would just be the ideal person for this problem. Have him and LBJ play Steph and Draymond and switch that screen. A player LIKE that would be perfect. Tony Allen, if he becomes available, might be a player to look at.
DOUBLE EDIT: Draymond Green is so infuriatingly good. Better than he should be. He's so effective at what he does because he plays so hard and he does the fundamental things. Do you know how much better our offense (or anyone's) would look if they just focused on setting good, solid screens like Green, and then focused on actually turning and rolling towards the basket with bad intentions? Love would benefit so much from just setting better screens. But we're enough into his career at this point that I don't think he's gonna start doing it at this point.
