Lol @ those people that actually thought a silverback would be able to handle 10 UFC fighters.

Those punches were weak. I did not see any power in those punches nor did I see knockout.

Its not about throwing them, its about taking them.

They have that animal instinct of life or death that you can't replicate in any sport.

That's why the best defensive players in football are the best, they are able to channel that inner animal instinct that most normal people cannot.

Good luck getting one of those Gorillas in a leg lock before it, literally, rips your arm off.

A Silverback has the strength equivalent of 10 full grown men. Gorillas for the most part are docile and non-confrontational but if provoked they will shred you like swiss cheese with minimal effort.

Stupid lady whining about "where's the zoo keepers!"

What the hell are the zoo keepers going to do to stop two gorillas from fighting short of shooting them with a high powered rifle? She acts like zoo keepers are recess aids able to break up gorilla fights like children on a school yard. If I was the zoo keeper I'd say you go out there and stop the fight lady, I'll pay you my salary for the day :oldlol:

Those gorillas really know how to square up and I'm impressed how insanely quick and defensively agile they are. I had a friend who was a state wrestler for Ohio in the 175 class I believe, the bursts of power and awareness of center of gravity of those gorillas reminded me of watching those wrestling tournaments. Only the gorillas look inhumanely powerful :lol

Definitely the Silverback. There might be a chance that he'd be nonchalant about the whole thing and just decide I'm not worth the trouble. Go find some leaves to gnaw on or something instead. Bears don't play that shit though. :(

Weaksauce. Do they even have takedown defense, breh? The silverbacks are leaving themselves open to get #REKT by any fighter with a basic ju-jitsu and wrestling foundation.

The student was left fighting for his life after the alpha males, named Nikki and Amadeus, pounced on him at the South African reserve where he was studying their behaviour.

He was dragged along the ground for more than a mile by the animals.

Medics stabilised the graduate at the scene and he was taken by ambulance to a private hospital in Nelspruit. Beeld reported that he lost part of an ear and parts of his fingers.

'When we found him, he was in a foetal position underneath a lapa (a roofed, open-walled structure) with massive injuries, lacerations, abrasions, partial amputation from his head to toe,' Lloyd Krause, ER24 emergency service spokesman told the Herald Sun.

'He lost an ear, he lost a number of fingers and toes, he's got very deep wounds, he's got total removal of skin and muscle off his one leg and his one arm, fractures all over the place.'

I don't want to get banned so I won't post the pics, but look up people's injuries from chimp attacks. They don't even look human any more.

Gorillas are chill as shit and for the most part if you leave them alone they'll return the favor. Chimps though are violent maniacs. I remember watching a nature special about raids they do on other groups that encroach on their territory. They make sure to rip off the genitals of the males before killing them.

Yes, an angry gorilla is much more powerful and dangerous than a chimp. But you would much rather run into a pack of gorillas (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBKW__IE6is) than chimpanzees (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7XuXi3mqYM) in the wild.

This. Gorillas like to sit and chew on leaves. Chimps are literally blood thirsty savages that actively seek fights-to-the-death.

None of the higher primates like Chimps, Gorillas or Orangutans should be kept in captivity. These animals are way too smart, beautiful and majestic to be kept like this. When I see videos like this it makes me smile because we're so alike, but it makes me sad because we hinder their natural evolution.

The second Gorilla didn't see the first one was sizing him up, he looked like he was charging for the window where the people are when the second one sprung into defense. Kind of weird for gorilla number two to charge like that at the window, perhaps the defensive mechanism kicked in on number one, either for himself or he was defending the people?

 Chimps are AS deadly. They can easily control you with their swift bodies just like gorillas can. You can avoid blows from bigger animals like bears, but your efficiency wouldn't be 100% at all times. Chances are humans ARE at the bottom of the chain when it comes to survival. We need tools to even attack.

Chimps are too aggressive. It would be easy for an experienced fighter to catch them in an arm bar and force the submission/arm break.

Lesnar in the first round by submission.
