Not the biggest Lebron fan but when someone scores 3 pts and gets paid 100+ mil says that... :facepalm

I would rather have a postbox starting over Kevin ****ing Love. I didn't know a player could suck so much on both ends of the floor.

Lebron James sucks too, by the way. I'm not a Lebron stan

He wasn't calling out LeBron. Quote probably needs a visual context. Simply saying that LeBron is the leader and the team has to follow him.

Stupid thing for Love to say regardless.

Lebron James is the greatest lockdown defender in league history the way he's able to limit Kevin Love's season production to 15 PPG on 41%.

"We have a lot of things to get better at. That's going to take a lot of guys looking themselves in the mirror and it all starts with our leader (James) over there and dwindles on down."

That quote is bad news any way you spin it.

Reminds me of those verbal jabs Shaq and Kobe threw at each other.

Stephen A Smith took that quote personal in his rant on first take. Mr 3 points got the nerve! LOL

That's not the most important thing with Love though. He is horrid offensively, but defensively he is even worse, a LOT worse. Worst defensive player in the league, it is literally impossible to win a championship with him on the court.

well look what they have him doing most of the time. He's jacking up 3pters instead of playing in the post.

I don't think Kevin Love really wants to play in the post.

Watching the game last nite, both Kyrie and Bron tried to get him touches in the post. He couldn't do anything. He got frustrated and stopped trying.

The biggest thing this season is Draymond Green literally takes him out the game. Love has no advantage at all with Draymond. He literally can only draw Green out to 3 point land.

Kevin Love had a chance to sign a lesser contract and really hit it big in 2017. He decided not to. I don't think he trusts his career will be long enough. So he signed the 100 million dollar deal now and it's just different.

maybe you should watch him play, he has an almost elite post-up game. Check his post up stats, among the best in the league, on a large sample too.

@CSAviate @H_Grove Watched, I see what you're saying.
It SEEMS that Love was trying to say that the team starts w/LBJ & trickles down.

damn. what an insight

Is it loves fault his game has changed to just being a spot up shooter? Cavs would be better off with channing frye than kevin love if that's the role they want him to fill.

Bingo

He is taking less 3 pointers now than he was at Minny. Why pretend like that is the issue, or does it fit some narrative or agenda you have going on?

He had ONE season in minny where he took 6.6 threes per game, every other season in his career there he's took less threes per game than he has ub both his seasons in Cleveland.

It isn't that he's suddenly taking a bunch more it's that he's taking 12 FGA over all and nearly half of them are now threes. His FGA's have gone down but his 3 point attempts haven't.

I will admit I don't watch enough Cavs. But from what I've seen that's what it appears to me. But then maybe it's the competition. I saw it when he played the Warriors on Christmas and in the Spurs game.

He averaged over 5 threes a game in his last 3 seasons in Minny.
He clearly developed the shot a little and fell in love with it. Now it is just a lazy and easy let off instead of working hard to get into better position.

Take a look at his gamelog when Kyrie wasn't there, the first two months. They were using him down low, in the post, getting high percentage shots, and he was jacking up 7 threes a game at that point. Dude has just fallen in love with it, and seems like the Cavs are trying to develop that stretch 4, and they have, just a really inefficient one that isn't worth much of anything on the court.

The only thing trickling down for LeBron is Chef Curry's jizz on his face

Rubio, despite being the worst shooter in the league at PG/SG, is a much better passer than Bron or Kyrie.

Hence Love struggling with finding quality looks

You realise Rubio was injured a lot while love was in minny and I'm pretty sure love hit 20ppg the year before rubio joined too.

Watch the interview. He wasn't calling him out. Obviously he should know better and know that this will get spun negatively, but it really shouldn't cause any issues.
