Stephen Curry has yet to solidify himself as a consensual top-25 ATG, whereas Kobe isn't any lower than the top-fifteen bracket for most scholars. How many players do you think he can leap-frog with one more championship run?

Even if he leads his team to another championship this year, that'll have been only two championships he led compared to Kobe. It's a bit polarizing as whether or not they deserved Finals MVP honors in the runs they led (in 2010 for Kobe, particularly), but the fact is that most can agree that they were the leaders of those championships; smarter fans value that much more than Finals MVP honors on a player's resume.

Curry has more than a plausible chance of passing Kobe one day, but it's a bit premature to propound it while he possibly hasn't even played halfway through his career yet

Lebron has two rings along with his multiple trips to the finals.

Curry has a few years at this sustained level to go.

Curry is one helluva scorer and his defense has improved, but I think he still has a few years to go before he can be in Kobe or Lebron type conversation. He is certainly on that path though. We should really have this conversation in 2 - 4 years if he is still putting up numbers like this on a team this good or close to it.
