Well, what the left and Islamists have in common have in common is that they're anti-western. The left always aligns with anything that is anti-western. Whether it's communism, islamism, etc...

Just ask yourself. Anybody who hates the west that moves to the west, what parties do they vote for? The right or the left?

In the case of the United States, like other western countries you truly don't have a traditional right or left anymore. You have have the pro-American party (Republicans) and the anti-American party (Democrats). It's not a secret. If someone who is in America hates America, which party do they all vote for? It's obvious.
