Fvck the current "hack-a-shaq" rules. No one wants to watch this sh*t. That being said... smh Drummond :facepalm no one should be this bad at free throws.

To be fair, 13-36 is right around his career average, which isn't bad considering he was 9 for his last 44 coming in (.209 percent).

That said, he had to go 6 of 12 in the fourth to get that number up. He was 7-24 heading into the final frame.

P.S. His 23 missed free throws is a new NBA record.

Van Gundy needs to bench Drummknd for a few games to mail home the message that he needs to improve his freaking free throws

That is insane! How does that fit historically? How many players have shot that many free throws in a game? How many times? When was the last? I'm guessing this is the most in my lifetime and only Wilt could compare.

I'm guessing it's second among modern day basketball.

Either way, Drummond's 23 misses is a new NBA record.

JVG was talking sh*t on those bad free throw shooters during the GSW Bulls game

Saying the NBA should organize a competition for em during the All Star Break

'Who would be the favorite' he was asked

'Well if you were to hit 2 in a row you'd pretty much become the favorite' :oldlol:

Anybody got any suggestions for a rule change?

He barley beat out DeAndre Jordan who went 12-34 and missed 22 this season..

But as far as attempts go, Dwight has him beat twice with 39 both times.

25-39
21-39

He wasn't exactly terrible though.

Interestingly enough and a little of topic, Shaq has only had more than 30 FT attempts once in his career.

And Adrian Dantley once went to the line for 31 attempts, considering he was a great FT shooter I doubt he was being hacked. He made 27 of those btw.

Also as far as Wilt go, I have managed to dig up part of his game logs from 63, not his best year but I found a game where he had 29 fta. So it is safe to assume he has had multiple 30+ fta in his career.

Say, during one of his super huge outputs (like the 100-point game).

Alas, the highest number I see during the 50.4 point season is 34 attempts (61 points) and 32 attempts (100 points).

I am looking now, but I am not finding any higher the 34 you are talking about. During his 100 point game he "only" had 32 FTA, made 28(!) of them. Clutch?:oldlol:

But it doesn't seem like he ever got the hack treatment, his Ft/Fg ratio isn't very high compared to other dominant bigs who were bad free throw shooters (Shaq, Dwight)..

Looking at it right now it is actually very low... Even compared to Durant and Harden.

Anyway, Drummond tied Wilt with 34 FTA.. and only Howard has ever had more than them.
