Cleveland. SA will represent the West.

I'd say Cavaliers. While the East is better this year, the Warriors will have to go through likely the Clippers and Spurs/Thunder to get to the finals whereas the Cavs will probably play against the Bulls and Hawks again (in my opinion) who they have royally owned for the better part of 7 years

*edit: LeBron James is 20-4 against the Bulls and Hawks in the playoffs since 2009

Cavs

Raptors might win a game, or 2, but raptors had a history of being defeated by lower seed teams.

I think a healthy Bulls is still the Cavs biggest challenge in the East.

Warriors are still going to play against the Spurs, or OKC in a best of 7 series. I gave them 50 percent, and 45 chances of beating the Warriors.

Hasn't it always been the LeBron-led team over a multitude of potential Western Conference finalists? :confusedshrug:

Granted, the parity has improved between both conferences, but most of the improved Eastern Conference teams have just improved from Point A to Point B—teams that have improved enough to compete for a playoffs spot and improve their playoffs-standing while not yet at Point C (championship content). I see more teams giving Cleveland a run for their money, but Cleveland remains as the only true title-contender out east.

The Western Conference houses more teams that are already in a championship-contention position; that's what makes it the real bloodbath en route to the Finals.

Cleveland. The Spurs and/or Thunder will be a tough challenge....especially the ****ing Spurs :lol

The only way the Cavs don't make the finals is if LeBron gets injured... and even then, Kyrie/Love is probably enough. :oldlol:

Warriors have to go through OKC/SA. Obviously the answer is Cleveland..

Cleveland of course. Who's gonna stand in their way?

One team has Durant+Westbrook and potentially an alltime great team to go through. The other has a team needing Derrick ****ing Rose to playing well (and being healthy) to do anything in the postseason and a bag of doritos as their competition.

And yet the icing on the cake is that a worn down team out of the WEST is going to sweep the Cavs in the final. That's how weak and pathetic the east is.
NBA needs to just do away with this east/west shit.

People said this last year but the Cavs took 2 games against the Dubs and even had a 2-1 lead at one point :confusedshrug:

Easily Cleveland and it's not even close.

The East is a parody show but let's be honest here - there isn't a single team in the conference that can hold a candle to the Cavs, whereas the Spurs are arguably the best team in the West. The Warriors have a much more onerous trek to the finals.

if the Knicks meet Cavs first round, Knicks win.

The Dubs are a better team this year. Look how easily they beat Cavs with Lebron trying his hardest. :confusedshrug:

Finals will be no different other than the 4 wins won't be by 34 points since GSW will be a little worn down due to the superior western conference.

Outside of the freaky great seasons from the warriors and spurs, the east west gap isn't much at all and likely favors the east this year. I still have OKC and maybe the clippers as the two best teams in that scenario but it's really close with them and the cavs and the bottom playoff teams will be better in the east.

2 of the greatest teams the NBA has ever had.

I'd say that's enough to give the West the nod.
