Lebron wouldn't have won in 2011, his role wasn't as significant as it was in Cleveland and his popularity with other players decreased. Frankly, he had plenty of games where he played D-Wade's Robin. I would have gave 2011 to Howard or Rose.

i remember lebron wasnt too popular with the league at the time. allot of resentment for the initial collude

LeBron had clearly better stats and won more games with a far inferior team than Kobe did. Why exactly should Kobe have won MVP over LeBron in '09?
