a great defender can stop a legendary rim attacker
no defender has ever stopped a legendary jump shooter
and besides... that legendary jump shooter was also a legendary rim attacker

i'll take the 45%legendary jump shooter, that way I'll also get the legendary 65% 3XFMVP goat big.

2000 NBA Finals, 2004 NBA Finals, 2008 NBA Finals, 2010 NBA Finals G7, etc.. I'm just talking about the Finals, BTW.
Oh, and OP, Kobe literally scores less than 2 more points than LeBron on jumpshots over their CAREERS. Dude averages ~3% more than LeBron on jumpshots. LeBron's at ~37% for his career and Kobe's at ~40%.

45% legendary jump shooter clearly.
It is much easier to stop the other guy, and also, the jump shooter opens up space for their teammates to work in the post.
The rim attacker needs his bigs to get the **** out of the way, thus, preventing them to have high % shots from close to the basket

Yall ****** tripping man. This was a pure basketball question and it turns into a Kobe versus LeBron blood fest once again. SMDH ISH ...
I got the jump shooter btw. You have a good chance to stop the rim attacker with a good big ass rim protector oppposed to you can't do shit if the jump shooter is hot cuz Kobe is da GOAT.

But the guy said it aint kobe or lebron.
too bad he can't win more finals on a higher % than kobe
lebron has won 100% of his Finals Championships (2/2), which means 2 of 6 Finals appearances were won by Lebron and all 6 were led by Lebron.
kobe has won 40% of his Finals Championships (2/5), which means 2 of 7 Finals appearances were won by Kobe and only 3 or so were led by Kobe.
Stop comparing sidekicks/Pippens/Havliceks to Lebron/Jordan.... they win & lead all their own stuff and they lead their own teams to Finals.... :)

Oh okay, so I guess your boy Kobe was not a legendary jump shooter, because he got stopped about 80% of the time in game winning situations in the clutch in the playoffs.
