But MJ and Hakeem are still the only two to win MVP and DPOY in the same season.
And Hakeem the only player ever to win MVP, DPOY and FMVP in the same season.

No.
He had the potential to be a DPOY, but he had too much offense to carry (he didn't have enough stamina, unlike Jordan)
Hmm... in 2012, he could have won it over Chandler honestly.

Who are the only players with a FMVP, DPOY, and a regular season MVP?
That seems like a real accomplishment.

DPOY and FMVP are literally joke awards in this era, shouldn't even count.
All-Star selection alone has always been a joke in this era and everyone knows it.

I wouldn't have been able to make this this thread if I didn't include all star

Closest to that would be the great Chamberlain I guess. MVP and ROTY same year

Really, winning MVP and DPOY in the same year is the ultimate alpha dog sh*t. Pretty much means you were the best player on both ends of the court for a single year. MJ and Hakeem.

Those are just regular season awards tho. Need FMVP to complete the trifecta.
MVP, DPOY, and FMVP basically means you absolutely ran the league.

Players from the '60's are forever screwed in these types of discussions. Russell would have won MVP/DPOY/Finals MVP probably 4 times, and Wilt would have done it in '67 as well. They'd have joined '94 Hakeem as the only ones to do it.

Players from today are screwed because there's more than 8 teams.
