One of the best movies of all time, IMO. I've watched it probably 100 times.

The music, the scenery, the costumes, the mannerisms, the mix of their time and ours, all wonderfully done.

Yes, thank you. I thought it was an amazing movie, but my friends and family thought it was boring.

Were they familiar with the source material?

I'm going to sort them in order of my favourites:

1. The Wolf of Wall Street
2. Catch Me If You Can
3. Gangs of New York
4. The Departed
5. Django Unchained
6. Great Gatsby
7. Inception
8. Blood Diamond
9. Titanic
10. Basketball Diaries
11. Shutter Island
12. Aviator
13. Whats Eating Gilbert Grape
14. The Beach
15. Romeo + Juliet

2-5 are pretty interchangeable really, but I do like The Wolf of Wall Street the most for sure. It is probably the most entertaining movie I've ever seen.

Definitely not. I just remembered it from force reading it in high school.

I loved it, my girlfriend loved it, her mother and sister loved it.

Her dad hated it.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I thought it was fantastic.

movie theme was by Moby

Aviator is awesome.

Leo can't get an Oscar for Inception, though.. innovative concept made that movie. Nor imo really Blood Diamond o Departed, but bigger argument there.

Same. Book sucked. Movie sucked. Great Gatsby is overrated.

You watch this movie every 7-8 days? :biggums:

Also, OP, no. Not a single classic listed there.

Great Gatsby was alright. I highly doubt I'll ever see it again after seeing it in theaters, I totally get why people love/hate it though.
