View Full Version : Should Kevin Love be worried?

Lebron is serious with this shit, so serious that he'd fire his own coach when his team has the best record in the Least.

Kevin Love is most likely the next scapegoat to be sacrificed.

at least for the remainder of the season, kevin love is staying with CLE.

if he is traded, i wonder if any "star" would consider coming to cleveland, knowing theyre painting a "scapegoat" target, dead center on their forehead.

Maybe they will hire a coach who actually knows how to use him.

Hopefully they will get a new GM, too. Whoever traded for JR Smith and Shumpert should have been publically stoned.

You realize Smith and Shumpert played a huge role in the team playing fantastic down the stretch last season and into the Finals, right?

No...not at all. The Knicks were overjoyed that anyone would take those two clowns from them. And, as expected neither were worth a $hit in the Finals.

Who in their right mind would take two KNICK REJECTS?

And as far as I am concerned...Smith should have been the Warrior FMVP.

the major difference between JR with the knicks and JR with the cavs, is his role. on the knicks, he was their 2nd go-to scorer. he has never been that and never should be. on the cavs, when healthy, he was their 4th or 5th option. something he excelled at.

cant blame cavs mgmt for not knowing BOTH love and irving would miss substantial time in the playoffs, forcing smith to take on more than his low IQ could handle.

J.R. Smith

The Cavaliers ranked 19th in the league in three-point percentage before the trade. The starting shooting guard at the time, Mike Miller, was shooting a decent but unspectacular 36.4 percent from outside, while Waiters was connecting on just a shade over 25 percent of his attempts. This despite 43.5 percent of the team's threes coming with no defender within four feet.

Three-point shooting was a huge problem for Cleveland because the role players were not making the defense pay for leaving them open and helping on the stars. That changed when J.R. Smith arrived.

Smith shot 39 percent on seven three-point attempts per game as a Cavalier during the regular season. When the defender was six feet away or further, Smith shot 48 percent. That's almost 15 percentage points better than Waiters and eight percent better than Miller. You just can't leave him open.

Iman Shumpert

Shumpert was hurt when he was traded and took a while to get settled. Once he did, Cleveland found its ace perimeter defender.

Shawn Marion was brought in to be the perimeter stopper that could relieve James from the burden of chasing elite talent around night in and night out, but he proved to be far too old for the job. Shumpert is not far too old. The former Knick boasted the only sub 100 defensive rating on the team since the trade and also acts as a credible offensive threat, something Marion can't do anymore.

Shumpert replaced Waiters as the team's sixth man and the upgrade was massive. Waiters could handle his man one on one, but his off-ball defensive was atrocious. Shumpert is significantly better chasing players through screens and guarding spot up situations, per Synergy Sports.

That off ball defense had a huge impact on the Cavaliers' overall numbers. With Shumpert on the court in the regular season, opponents shot just 28 percent from outside.

Take this L, old fella.

Take this L, old fella.

They could have been replaced by Betty White you idiot.

Of course, we saw what they accomplished in the Finals. .326 and .258 from the floor.

Those two clowns will go 3-3 when the game is meaningless. In the 4th quarter they suddenly go 0-7.

They would have been better off just cutting them, and not bothering to replace them.

Worthless POS's that are loose cannons that will do the dumbest things at the worst possible times.

Whoever traded for JR Smith and Shumpert should have been publically stoned. The funny thing though is that if Jr and/or Shump were on the Knicks they'd have some nice wing depth. Lance Thomas is balling, but these 2 guys would be better suited to this iteration of the Knicks compared to the squads in the previous 2 years.

You didn't address anything. :oldlol:

The Cavs dominated after that trade was made. It wasn't a coincidence.

Didn't James Harden get his coach fired that made it to the conference finals.
Also I would think Love doesn't like Blatt.

Yeah,...let's just skip over the third little item in those tradeS...MOSGOVE...who put up 11-7 .590 numbers. And gave them a CENTER that they didn't have before he arrived.

Oh, and at least he contributed in the Finals.

LOL You guys realize Tyronn Lue has a great relationship with all those guys including Love right?

Tyronn Lue is not going to be a scrub coach. Brendan Haywood said Lue is one of the few guys to actually call Lebron out in film sessions. Blatt was scared and for good reason. Lue originally was the front runner.

Lue comes from Phil jackson/Doc Rivers style. He's going to hold stars more accountable.

So Mosgov's averaging 6/4/1 this season and yet the Cavs are 30-11 with the best record in the East.

X-FACTOR.

You cannot type something like this and hope people think you know anything. Brand new outside threat (250 3's in his first 82 games as a Cav) and an athletic swingman who sets the defensive tone for this team. We didn't trade for them - we stole them.

No the X factor has been Shumpert and his 7 ppg on a .411 in his 19 games.

Where would they have been without him?

The times I've watched the games I see Irving, Bron and Thompsons mostly talking to Lue and listening to his critiques. In the past Phil Jackson and Doc Rivers have always said great things about him.

This is just like the backup QB. Always popular and great things to say about him when the starter sucks. Let's see how cool he is with Lebron when they take a few L's to the top teams in the West.

Getting the hell out of Cleveland would be a blessing for Love.

WTF does he have to worry about?

Love just owned Bran in the media and then was the best player on the team for the next two games.

Phucking that colluding coward.

They both are always banged up, Smith doesn't know shit about defense and Shumpert is uncoachable. I'll agree that current Knicks would make THEM look better. I don't miss either of them.
