At the time of his firing.

No coach in ANY SPORT, at ANY TIME, has EVER been fired with as high a winning percentage as Blatt currently had this season.

Scapegoat...brotherhood...2/7 incoming.

Wasn't Marty Schottenheimer fired from the Chargers after a 14-2 regular season?

And that super talented group never did make a SB. :oldlol:

After the season, yes.

Not in the midst.

Judging from the OP's usual MO, he probably thinks this somehow means that Lebron sucks for some reason and how he's a baby and always gets his way or whatever.

Very strange way to look at it, but go ahead and have fun with it :confusedshrug:

If anyone actually wants to talk about the true implications and reasoning behind this move, there's another thread on here...http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=396405 ... started by a poster named Marchesk who isn't just a troll. And there is some legit discussion in that thread, as in it I found out that Blatt was actually supposed to be fired after the Portland game.

No, HE, didnt have.... his team did, more like Lebron did, had absolutely nothing to do with Blatt, i have yet to have seen any of his strategy or plays work (and yes, they did listen to him dearly, that includes Lebron), he is absolutely nothing, just like any coach Lebron had.... the guy just stood around there with his crosseyes and did nothing.

Coach firings in the nba often are directly the result of player's ego's getting in the way of team success. You can't possibly say that isn't happening here.
