CP3 has been playing phenomenal basketball over the past month but the only thread made about him is about him getting into a fight.

Lol. Nobody cares about CP3 playing "phenomenal" in January anymore. We know his act.

nobody cares about him period. he can make a game 7 game winner against an elite team and people will still not be impressed.

Because we know he'll just go on to lose in the second round. In hilarious fashion.

When it's the one, single, meaningful clutch moment you've had in your entire career, that'll happen.

people were impressed for sure. But it was the losing a 3-1 lead against a team with less talent in embarrassing fashion (4th quarter comeback with Harden on the bench) in a series where the Clippers won a game without Paul.. that turned the tide

And the fact that he couldn't take advantage of being guarded by a 39 year old JET mother****ing Terry in Game 7. Curry abused that old man every time in the WCF. CP3 let him off the hook.

All I saw was Paul trying to box out Lopez who has nearly a foot on Paul and about 75 pounds on him.

Yes, maybe Paul threw that elbow out a little bit when trying to box out and it hit between Lopez's stomach and chest area, but Lopez got his feathers ruffled over nothing basically.

That's the life of the 'best PG of his generation'. People need to see results. He's been great in the 1st rounds of playoff series. People need serious results. It's a result oriented business, that's basically the only thing people have on Lebron.

With Terry matched up on him in an elimination game, that's the time to take over and will your team to victory. 26/10 is good, but elite players are expected to play at their best when it matters most. Paul wasn't nearly aggressive enough offensively. Magic was pass first too, but no way he is ever letting a 39 year old man guard him one on one without giving him buckets all night.

It's a result oriented business, that's basically the only thing people have on Lebron. There's no decline in his level of play in the 1st round and the 2nd round. Actually he plays better in the 2nd round than the 1st round.

And there's no difference in his level of play in the regular season and the playoffs either. I'm tired of idiots implying this. If he's a trash playoff performer then he trash in the regular season as well.

He's also 6'9 and a better scorer than Paul. Paul is 5'11 and not a scorer.

You're saying he wasn't aggressive enough offensively yet he took 20 shots in game 7. Him going out there trying to drop 30+ wouldn't have changed a damn thing.

It was an embarrassing upset but saying the Clippers had more talent than the Rockets is equally embarrassing.

I actually don't see anything wrong with Paul's behaviour in this, he pushed both porzingis and lopez when they were squaring him up, not much betaness in this
