Yesterday I was lambasted for not providing evidence, resulting in 7 negs. So I decided I would post some evidence.

Kevin Love (PnR defense Roll man courtesy of NBA stats)

As you can see Kevin Love is the worst on the Cavs team and ranks in the 17th percentile. He ranks 32nd worst amongst 185 qualified players.

This in combination with Synergy statistics, which show that when you involve both Kyrie and Kevin Love they are the worst at defending this type of action.

More statistics, according to NBA stat's player tracker player's on average shoot 3.9% better when Kevin Love is guarding them, this is in the bottom quartile of the league.

Can't come back with anything valid, I thought we were going to have a debate regarding this but the evidence is so overwhelming I guess.

3.0 BPM / +6.13 RPM (13th in the league just behind KD) / 110 ORTG player on your team? And "oh but the defense" is a poor excuse, as well, because all defensive metrics show that he's average to even slightly above average in that department, largely because of his defensive rebounding ability.

BTW Melo is a -6.3% in diff% which is only slightly behind Draymond Green at -7.1%

minus dif is good and Melo is one of the best post defenders in the league.

I don't exactly know how they calculate all of that, but diff% is the most important defensive stat and players shoot 4% better when guarded by him.

Love has one of the highest defensive ratings in the league and the team is much better defensively when he's on the court.

That's cool, but those stats can lie. Diff % don't lie.
