View Full Version : What will stop muslims misinterpreting the Quran?

Or are they?
So what is the solution to preventing muslims from taking to the Quran's violent verses and carrying it out?
Seems to be a problem that I think Muslims within their community need to address and condemn those hate preachers looking to distort the Quran, if in fact that is the case.
Where is the line between hate preacher and true Islam?

Only a very very small percentage is misinterpreting it.

There is nothing to interpret about the Quran because it is the word of God. Most Muslims obey their bible word for word, literally.
You cant misinterpret Quran, its very clear, just use your logic/ration always knowing that it all is utmost benovelence and you will be fine, those who do "misinterpret" it are not misinterpreting it, but more like indoctrinating it to suit their deeds, but then its not Islam anymore, its then creation of your own ideology (even if you desperately call it/want it to be "Islam").... and those who do indoctrinate/create their own ideology of it to suit their deeds, even "caliphate", are most often criminals/terrorists/cons/gangstas/psychos... and those are few....
Muslims = 2.100.000.000 - 2.200.000.000~ people, #2 slightly behind only the #1 world population (Christians) and its just as multicultural, you guaranteed have a nearby neighbor muslim wherever you are and ALWAYS had, you think all walk around with veils/covered or something? (that is only Arabs, Arabic culture!), you think all look middle-eastern (that is only Arabic race!), there is just as many races, ethnicities, cultures in Islam.... maybe even more diverse...
ISIS/Terrorists = 20-30.000~ people atm or something & ever declining & hopefully soon completely erased, that is 0.0000001% of the muslim population.... more like 0.0000000 since no Muslim think they should even be related to the word Muslim/Islam (or even just word "HUMAN") in any way, the only ones who would dare call them Muslims/that is Islam are only ISIS/terrorists themselves and ofcourse guys like Nick Young here (which unfortunately is many people, the us media & such). Considering the population, if i Islam was actually anywhere close to what THEY and ofcourse you/Nick Young/Patrick Chewing think it is then the world would be in the apocalypse stage at the moment.... :P

The Qu'ran REPEATEDLY over and over and over and over again reminds people of the Day of Judgment, simmering blazing fires that are infinity times more painful than any pregnancy or spinal tap, and "Allah knows what is revealed and concealed in any hearts." If you don't have hope in the justice of the Book, I don't know what to tell you Poido. All things will be revealed, eventually, and everything will be recompensed for in the Hereafter. I hope this gives comfort in your heart and you really internalize Divine Justice.
The Qu'ran was revelated when Muhammad (PBUH) was at war with Quraysh, other scattered tribes, Abu Lahab, Abu Jahl, and others so naturally it's going to have standards of conduct for war-time in addition to others. You don't turn the other cheek and let your tribe get destroyed. That's not fitrah.

There is a strong Muslim Reformation movement coming, OP.
It will be the day where Muslims adopt Western values and are finally seen as forward-thinking individuals capable of separating religion from strict governance over their lives.
There is hope for our Muslim brothers and sisters. I just can't wait to see the amount of ass I can get when Muslim women start wearing regular clothes. That's all I really care about.

As mentioned....don't have a problem with Muslims, just Islam and its teachings.
Look how radical someone like Jefferson Money is. He use to be chill then admitted he practices Islam and look how radical he is since he came out of the closet as a Muslim.

Your goal as a Christian is to strive to do good works on Earth and increase in faith. You had JUST STATED you wanted Bibles to be given to schoolchildren. Dude, PLEASE stay consistent for your soul Chewing. And you know lust and seduction can take you in under its spell and have you forgetting about the Reality after.
Forward-thinking implies the production of technology and advancing in knowledge and civilization. Iran and Pakistan, the two nations arguably closest and strictest in adherence to Islam are slowly but surely developing in those areas. Covering up women to inhibit lust in men is not a detriment to that.

The thing is most Muslims do speak out against the crazies and don't interpret the Koran in a violent way. it is a minority of crazies, the problem is the crazies shout the loudest and murder people at random when the moderate ones who speak out against them aren't around.
Realistically, there's no way to stop the crazies really.
Check out this video from 18:58 onwards
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DsG9yQrdD4&feature=youtu.be
An entire crowd of Muslim dudes gathers around the crazies and tells them to shut the **** up and they aren't practicing Islam properly.
There is another example of that happening in the video. Vast majority are speaking out against the extremists. Doesn't matter. The extremists are going to keep doing what they do no matter what.
Also check out 13:45 onwards. Everyone coming out of the Mosque is against the psychos and telling them to shut the phuck up. The psycho extremists aren't going to listen to shit. Doesn't matter if it's 10,000 vs 5, the psychos will keep screaming the loudest.

Somebody like pauk is a perfect example of one of the hundreds of millions of muslims enablers. He pretends he is a "moderate", but the moment you say something bad about anything islam, he goes into a raging, fundamentalist defense mode. While he may not hurt you personally because he is a coward, he will gladly watch his brothers in ISIS cut your head off.

He is radicalized without even knowing it, because the radicalism is actually just islam's natural state. Those like him are the reason why the "small" terrorist organizations are able to control so many areas - the civilians agree with them and support them as long as they don't have to commit attrocities themselves.

Well, of all the deaths caused by terrorism last year, 99.7% of them were from Islamic terrorism. Not a hyperbole. That number is literally true.
Of course, if you listen to left wing weirdos, the real problem is the mythical "right wing terrorism".

You are so full of shit and misguided. I don't even say that due to this thread, but I say it more in regards with how deep rooted and ingrained in your way of thinking you are. What I'm saying has nothing to do with religion, but rather how ignorant and uninformed you are.
You can't misinterpret a piece of text or literature? Yes pauk, you can, especially religious ones, hence such divide within specific religions themselves.
Indoctrinating? Sure buddy. The fact is, all these religious texts have extremely violent parts in them. My last girlfriend was raised extremely religiously growing up, and she said she had nightmares as a little kid due to being read some of the old testament, etc.
You can say something isn't this based off of this, or whatever you want, but the fact is, the inspiration to do some of these things comes from these particular pieces of texts, which are interpreted in so many different ways all over the world. Even person to person has many different and varying opinions on simple phrases out of these religious texts.
Religion has been the cause of how many wars? How many of the worlds problems throughout history? Even now? Where does most of the global tension now stem from now?
But nah, you can't misinterpret the Bible or Quran, or any other religious texts. :oldlol:
Maybe you need to wake up and realise that religion and the way it has been and still is taught can be a problem.

I know you & much of America (especially media) want for such a thing to exist for what purposes but there is no such thing, if you are a terrorist (criminal, psycho, whatever, same shit etc.) you are no Muslim... especially not if you act like what you do is in the name of Islam...
There is no such thing, if you want to call it "islamic terrorism" then you might aswell call it just ISLAM.... no difference... you cant call it "islamic radicalism" either... none of it... a radical muslim is the one who exaggerates his devotion / practices / thoughts to Islam, its the very LAST person to do anybody harm, thats a radical muslim...
Radical yes
Terrorist yes
Muslim/islam no
"Islamic Mentally Ill Person" is more what i would prefer to hear if you must use the word Islam/Muslim, such thing can exist... mental illness is normal and thats what ALL those **** terrorists are...

I don't go around trying to spread Islam, I don't need that. I prefer everyone to be a genuine good person. There are other ways of tasting heaven than Shahadah. Whether you are a person of the book, or an uneducated homeless man with no religion.
These terrorists committing violence for 'the sake of Islam' have another thing coming to them. God cannot be fooled. He knows what is in your heart. Everyone gets what they deserve, if not in this world than definitely in the hereafter. This is the main reason to believe in there being a hereafter.

That is very true. Anyone with any real life experience knows that there's no such thing as earthly justice, and therefore the human need for justice, can only be found in an appeal to something higher.
That's why all efforts of the State to dole out a kind of absolute justice have always ended in pitiful failure. Human beings long for something outside of their own existence, because it doesn't take a genius to recognise that human life is completely unjust, from start to finish.
On the other hand, Pauk's argument, that in being a terrorist you somehow are excluded from being a muslim, is simply absurd. If muslims lived under a regime that sought the extermination of muslims, what would make muslim terrorism 'un-muslim' in that case? Those types of argument are completely illogical.
