"Now you get fired for winning as much as you get fired for losing". It's really, really sad hearing that from him especially since he had to deal with that Dwight shit back in 2012 :( . I'm really pulling for someone in the East to take down Cleveland now whether it's the Heat, Raptors, Bulls, whoever.

Here's the thing with comparing McHale's firing to Blatt's.
McHale was strongly encouraged to diversify the offense. Morey gave the likes of Ty Lawson and Marcus Thornton to McHale and our offense continued to look stagnant. James Harden wants to play off-ball, but resorted back to dribbling for half a possession because there was no real offensive scheme that McHale was supposed to implement. Everything with this team's offense from back when McHale was a coach to now Bickerstaff is centered around the pick and roll, no off ball movement, no extra passing, just the pick and roll. Harden resorting back to his old ways irked teammates and effected their on-court morale killing their competitiveness on defense. McHale failed to live up to expectations at the beginning of the season.
Blatt was flat out a scapegoat from Day 1. He had no chance, Lebron from the time he announced his return to the Cavaliers had no excitement about playing for Davis Blatt. You see the biggest dog in your pack disrespect authority the little dogs will follow.
I know LeBron has always been public enemy #1 on ISH but it seems like he got some love back from most b-ball communities (fans and media alike) since going back to Cleveland.
is he back to being public enemy #1 again now? Carlisle and SVG expressed their disappointments. that says alot when coaches don't usually get this vocal about other team's problems.

The Cavs have become the most hated team in the league overnight. Garbage lowball team.

Blatt should have been fired a year ago. He was never the right guy for this group. He was hired to nurture young talent.
Instead, he showed up to training camp with a superteam full of all-stars and vets.
Pretty much anyone will work in the slot as long as he's Lebron James' choice. Good luck Tyronn Lue.

**** the Cavaliers. I hope the NBA retracts the team from the NBA and they go to Seattle.

I won't say they're more hated than when LeBron joined the Heat.

What does LBJ and CP3 have in common? They are both racists looking for a black coach only :coleman:

great coaches should just stay in college or over seas and have job security
the nba is a joke
everything falls on the coach. the players are paid too much to have any fingers pointed at them

If you have Lebron in your team, you must fight for the championship, and the Cavs weren't. So Blatt, get the **** out.

i disagree. It seems all the rockets needed was josh smith. Hell if josh smith would have stayed in houston, mchale would still be the coach. They underestimated how much of a glue guy smith was for this team. Cant blame anybody but the GM....and it cost mchale his job.smh......I hate politics.

In the NBA coaches only get the full responsibility when the team loses, or in this case just blame no matter what, when teams win championships the coach is just a part of a big whole. Even the likes of PJax and Pop are never solely responsible for winning titles, but players like Jordan and Shaq are credited with championships like they won on their own.
