this is getting pathetic

so chris paul can play off ball then get roasted for not putting up the same stats he does when he runs an offence? The problem is they keep going for names instead of fit.

So CP3 doesn't want to play PG anymore? Just wait at the 3 for the ball with 2 seconds left on the clock. :applause:

That is a horrible fit...for both teams.

Cavs problem is not Irving or the coach. Lebron is

How much more 'help' does LeBron* need? Why not just give him the entire ****ing all-star team.

tpols
01-24-2016, 06:58 PM
damn lol.. if kyrie, a jump shooting scorer type pg, cant fit with Bron.. nobody can. Chris Paul ball + Lebron Ball on one team? I actually hope i get to see this.

Kyrie's one of my favorite players and it would be a good long-term investment considering he's only 23...but it would hurt us this season.

both teams stay exactly the same:roll:

Lebron and CP3 are both too ball dominant. They are incapable of winning a title together.

Lebron would turn CP3 in to a spot up shooter.

Pushxx

Chris Paul would only play for a black coach soo keep that in mind.

01-24-2016, 08:08 PM
Kyrie on Clips makes sense due to his age. CP3 is a bad fit because of how ball dominant LeBron is on the Cavs.

So it turns out Kyrie was the problem all along.
I knew it was something, not Blatt, not Love, but Kyrie!
At some point we're gonna run out of players not named Bron, I wonder what happens then.

chris paul would run the offense better than lebron...lebron could actually have his career extended with this move

HoopSuperstar
01-24-2016, 08:23 PM
Really. So Cleveland wants to contend now and the Clippers don't? It's a good trade because the clippers are a young squad(unlike Cle. has some pressure in winning now. because Bran isn't getting any younger.) on the Cavs side this adds some much needed leadership especially when Bran is on the bench.
But is it enough to take them over the hump? Probably not.

Paul defends

Kyrie doesn't

Cavs win deal

Would be funny seeing Clippers fan shit on Kyrie after seeing him play every game

There are also off the court concerns with Kyrie

Again, I told you all this before this article came out.

Chris Paul to Cle would also make the Cavs the most hated team in ISH history. :oldlol:

I dunno, lebron getting passes from paul sounds better than lebron passing to kyrie...

Would be awesome if Lebron starts playing PF. Pick and roll with Love in the corner. If Blake can hit that 15-17ft consistently...Lebron should too.

you guys aren't buying this crap right?... no way the Clippers trade CP3 for Kyrie

isn't it obvious that Kyrie is washed up after the injury?

he isn't the same player - the Clips would be the dumbest team in the league to send away CP3 for Kyrie.

cp3 is way better and not washed up

A couple years ago I was thinking a Paul for Westbrook trade would work well for both teams.

Ideal team for Lebron:

Curry
Thompson
Kawhi
Dirk
Lebron at C, focused on intangibles

I think the ideal team for LeBron would be something like:
PG: Pat Beverly
SG: Klay Thompson
SF: Danny Green
PF: LeBron
C: Rudy Gobert

Bench:
PG: Mario Chalmers
SG: Allen Crabbe
SF: Justice Winslow
PF: Taj Gibson
C: Steven Adams
Bench Warmers: Mike Miller and James Jones (Essential for a LeBron title team)

Kyrie for CP3
Love for Melo

Lebron gets to play with his BFF's yet again.

For CP3 and Bron to play on the same squad, Bron SHOULD have to alter his game more than CP3. Which would mean playing more of traditional SF role with the point forward shit mixed in. With CP3, he wouldn't have to use his point forward skills as much. Bron could focus on scoring more and use his athletic ability to dominate a la Nique and Dr. J.

BUT passing wise, Bron could use the Larry Bird approach of dominating passing. Bird was NEVER the primary ball handler of the Celtics. However, he was always the best passer on the team. Bird dominated passing from a stationary position or off a single dribble or two. He wasn't a point forward in the vein of Bron, Pippen, Hill, etc. BUT Bird was just as good or better passing the rock.

If Bron made those tweaks with a PG like CP3, they would work great together. But in general, Bron is BEST as his team's primary ball handler. Which MEANS scoring PG's who can shoot like a Curry, Irving, and Lillard are his best fits.

basically lebron needs 8+ other players on his team who don't want to touch the ball except right before shoot or inbetween lebron touching the ball again. basically no superstars, lmao.

Melo to the Cavs would be the best trade for Cleveland. Melo playing off ball would be like Olympics Melo. Knicks wouldn't want Love though. Would have to get a third team involved.

Because then his All Star teammates would instantly become scrubs in the eyes of ESPN and take all the blame for not letting Lebron achieve his greatness.

CP3 joins Cavs, they should rename the team "Cleveland Bitches".

This move could possibly elevate or de'elevate the Cavs to being the most unlikable team in league history. Step aside Heatles...

K. Irving & T, Thompson plus draft picks or something. for C.Paul & D. Jordan

Kyrie is a young dude, while clippers may never get over the hump and never get anything in exchange for Chris Paul. I know this is a long shot to get Jordan, but who knows. He did want to leave, but stayed for a chance at the title.

This would put Cleveland in a good position to get the pieces they're looking for. K.Irving might never fit in with Lebron. I trade love too for another forward who can play better defense (NY). And Mo. Williams for Kevin Martin.

Love for Griffen is more realistic at this point.

It's 2016 and people are still so clueless when it comes to putting players around Lebron. You don't put a guy who's been the primary ballhandler all his career next to Bran mid-season. Kyrie was never the problem either. Only thing the Cavs could possibly do at this point is swap Love for a defensive player but they have TT off the bench who they just gave a big contract to...

They have all the pieces it's just a matter of utilizing them properly.
