Athleticism
Easily
And I know you've got strength and conditioning knowledge like myself, let's be honest, D-Rob was juicing
Hell they didn't start testing til like 99

The term "athletic freak" is used way too much in basketball. Every other guy is one. If a 7 footer can tie his shoes he's an "athletic freak". Shaq was an athletic freak. David Robinson another one (he was def juicing tho for real). Willie Caulie Stein is an athletic big guy.

Yep
This is the problem
People don't know this. If you've been a high level athlete you can identify these traits. WCS is all-time athletic. It's in his foot speed, his quickness and top speed. He set all-time level combine numbers. Murked everyone, including guys like Nate Robinson.
He is similar in D-Rob to this regard. David most definitely was using gear though, as they didn't test for it or care much about PED usage until 99

He is VERY athletic. I just hate the term "athletic freak".

Here's probably the best example of how freakishly quick/fast WCS is
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8OjudFd2q4
That sort of footspeed is very comparable to D-Rob. Probably faster than D-Rob in college too. But once Robinson got on the sauce he took it to the next level. I'm sure WCS has that potential if he had that commitment to strength and conditioning... But players can't dope like they used to

Hey, I'm not going to deny there is juice going on in pro sports. That said robinson is one of the most well conditioned athletes of all time and you don't get that with just a few needles. I don't see nearly that seem kind of work ethic of results from Stein.
They do seem to move similarly though at least off ball. Stein is still learning how to play offense for better or worse there.

He does not have an offensive game at this point, but he started playing basketball in high school so I guess there's still potential there.

His locker room presence is enormous, he leads the team in that category.

usually if you have soft hands and coordination you're able to hit those hooks and scoops right away. you have people like Tyson Chandler who have been playing Basketball for half their life and still can't hit a contested layup. the athletic types like WCS usually never have that ability, they're more rigid and mechanical and that type of fluidity and coordination is the difference between all-stars and role players.

I don't think he has bad hands, he was a tight end. But he's got like zero offense sense. I havent watched him much this year so one of the kings fans might be able to add some insight here.

I've been on the WCS bandwagon for years.
You all remember me predicting him to average Noel numbers, right?
Dude has put up 10 and 11 in his last three, playing 31mpg. Those will be his career numbers. May go up to 12, 13, or 14 ppg depending on his FT% but, this is what you get for the next 12 years.
Be happy.
