I'd say I'm both, but I don't have a favourite player if you're asking for specifics.

Raptor fan since I moved to Toronto and I have a great connection with the fans here and the city itself. I feel their passion, knowledge, etc... just a great fan base to be a part off, even if were crazy.

I think it's possible to be a player only fan with no allegiance to a team but I don't think it's possible to be a team fan and claim no semblance of being a player fan. I mean, you can like your team but clearly there are certain players outside your team that you favor, right?

there are plenty of players im a fan of, but first and foremost, im a laker fan. always engaged in what moves theyre making, how theyre doing as a team, how the offense/defense looks, etc etc.

but above all that, im a basketball fan. LOVE the sport. LOVE IT

I am a Laker fan first, but the games are so hard to watch right now. It's not just that the team is horrible, but I want them to lose so we can keep our pick and hopefully get Ben Simmons.

I can't root for them and it feels wrong watching and hoping they lose.

The last time I had a real fan interest was the Celtics in '08, mostly because I wanted to see KG get a ring. Since then I root against certain teams instead of for anyone. Seeing the Pacers do well in the playoffs is nice just due to geographical tribalism. But let's be realistic. Sprouting a lotus blossom from your belly button and bringing the Kali Yuga to a close is more likely than the Pacers ever making noise.

I'd say without a doubt a team fan first , my Bucks and probably Heat 2nd because of my fav player D-Wade.

I think we all have fav players , and they will always be on different teams as a true fan of the game would be.

the lakers don't appeal to be beyond kobes retirement. but i'l continue to support them and wish them the best.
