...just how bad things were for him in Cleveland."

[indent]The Cleveland Cavaliers haven't played impressively in their two games since firing David Blatt.
They lost by double-digits to the Chicago Bulls in their first game under Tyronn Lue, then barely squeezed out a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
One notable difference, however, has been the Cavs' insistence on pushing the pace.
It's a plan Lue has been trumpeting, even going so far as to say that Cavs players weren't in good enough shape to play at a fast pace, and they'd have to gradually build their way up to it.
ESPN's Zach Lowe had fellow ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst on his podcast Tuesday, and they discussed this new game plan for the Cavs, when Windhorst revealed where the idea came from

so INSTEAD he chooses to waste a season and a half playing his passive-aggressive games and letting the whole team play off his lead.
Passive-aggressive. Like a woman. You don't know where he truly stands. You can't trust what he says -- you have to decipher everything using the bread crumbs he leaves around because he doesn't have the inner strength or security to be honest and stand on it.

I didn't know he was a known racist. What he say or do that made it so obvious?

He did this passive-aggressive shit last year before the trades, but after that I think it stopped. They lost in the finals because Lebron couldn't make a shot to save his life - it's that simple. The other players played their hearts out, so it wasn't like they were trying not to win to make a point. And unlike this year, him being a bitch actually helped them if that's what made the GM pull off those trades. This year he is just hurting the team by blaming everyone but himself.

Ok a couple things
Blatt signed before Bron informed the Cavs he would return
Bron studied Blatt's coaching style after he joined the team. So he didn't sabotage Blatt with his play.
Blatt threaded lightly on Bron and lost some respect of the locker room.
The rookie player coach phenomenon happened since Lue was brought on as an assistant.
(Kerr,Kidd,Fisher,Walton, etc) Lue would've been a HC next season.
Blatt couldn't get fired after a coming off a 6 game finals appearance in the offseason.
Griffin made a power play to keep Lue after a blowout loss give him an opportunity.
But i will agree that decision wouldn't have been made if Bron or Lue hadn't agreed to it.

For Griffin to fire Blatt there must have been something deeply wrong going on behind the scenes.

well, lebron "couldn't make a shot to save his life" because with love and irving out, the offense was primarily on his shoulders. so it's not exactly that simple. also, i don't doubt that the players were "playing their hearts out" because it would have been absurd for them to do otherwise. so that's really neither here nor there.
the issue i'm trying to get at is basically: who should be in charge of a situation?
to my thinking, it starts with the HC. so if blatt says "we need to run," then that's godamn-well the system that the team needs to try before anything else IMO. only then if it proves to be a poor fit, do you shift to something else and give more voice to others (like the star players). therefore, lebron resisting blatt from the get-go seems incredibly wasteful now that they're finally moving on to what the ex-HC wanted to do in the first place.
we'll never know for sure, but if running blatt's preferred system had allowed lebron to be used more efficiently, then we're looking at a potentially different finals outcome. that's pretty huge if you ask me.

Lue is Lebron's guy, he's not going nowhere unless Lebron can bring in a coach he greatly respects.

Lue is just another Lebrong "YES" man. More Lebron ball. Lebron can't be coached pretty much. It's not like he can play off the ball.

funny him and Chris Paul are both known racists and floppers and choke all the time. it takes a weak personality type to be those things and it shows when they choke against the pressure.
