Real Lakers fans appreciated everything Pau brought to the Lakers and were upset at how poorly Lakers management and D'Antoni treated him. Seeing him leave was awful, because it meant that finally, Jimmy Buss' incompetence had won.

I still have Pau's Lakers jersey hanging in the closet next to Kobe's. Wish I could still wear it. :(

Only reason I root for Bulls is because of that man. I love him. His last couple years were filled with abuse and neglect but at the same time, he was really dogshite in the end, partly because of injuries and Fagtoni. Super glad hes playing well again.

Ya I remember. So it's interesting to know he's soured on him. I wonder when during D'Antoni's tenure with the Lakers that shift took place. I mean despite injuries fans rejected D'Antoni pretty quickly (even though I think most fans underrate his actual positive contributions).
