East Bay is the best Bay

Sucks that the Warriors priced out their hardcore fans than move across the bay. The East bay fans is what gave Roaracle that atmosphere but funnt how the finals had a different feel. Expect a down grade in a SF

Used to be able to get decent lower corner tickets in the "We Believe" era for $75-100 a pop. Now it's around $250/per for the same seats. Lucky to make 1-2 game a year.

roaracle hasn't been roaracle since the finals. ticket prices too high and upper class people don't like getting loud.

it's not like the Warriors need that energy to be dominant though.

Oracle was a cool name, shame it won't last

You can have a lot worse sounding names for sponsors than Chase. At least Chase can have a second meaning.

Nothing beats 'SkyDome'

http://www.blogto.com/upload/2012/01/2011114-90s_dome.jpg

Now called 'Rogers Centre'

http://static.theglobeandmail.ca/209/incoming/article14435702.ece/ALTERNATES/w620/Rogers-Centre.jpg

The owners, Rogers, are a Canadian telecommunications company far worse than AT&T you could ever imagine, and only one of two major telecom companies so price gouging happens either way and has for decades and will likely continue so for a long time to come. Canadians hate this company so much, some celebrated the death of Ted Rogers (company owner/president) because he was that much of a greedy snivelling piece of shit, so much so that he even got his own statue outside of the sports complex:

The original name was part of a contest that was province wide. Sucks to be the winner of that all in the name of a garbage corporation.

Might want to put "Talking Stick Arena" and "ViVint Smart-Home Arena" up with with 'em. I just really hope one day McDonalds sponsors an arena and that they just call it "McDonalds." No arena, no center, just McDonalds

Oracle Arena sounded so cool. Not as cool as Chase Center

I always liked "The Palace at Auburn Hills" that sounded legit. also Boston Garden sounded really cool. Corporate sponsorships are ruining the arena names...you would think that with these sponsorships the fans could see some discounts on tickets but i guess not.

I'm sure ticket prices everywhere have increased since a decade ago. Also, as much as I loved the We Believe era, you now get to see an all-time great championship team.
