Out of interest are you old enough to have watched NBA on NBC before ABC took over?Honest question, no offense intended. But to explain, NBC frequently had triple header Sundays, it was basketball heaven for NBA fans. And even by ABC's own prior schedule, we aren't getting any double headers this year.

ABC is horrible. Their presentation stinks. They have people that aren't funny and not insightful...some borderline mentally retarded. Why do they always play a spanish sounding version of their theme song? It's just cringe worthy. Their schedule is the same 5 teams all the time, have some variety. NBC could make any game seem interesting. They had really good commentators, intelligent, and knowledgeable. Their intros were well written. Just better all around. NBC is trash.

hey i just read your response from earlier...yea i remember nba on nbc...best theme music ever too. but idk man do you blame abc or the nba since they make the schedule.

abc cant televise a triple header if it isnt scheduled right? idk how it works...maybe abc has input when they sign a contract with the nba and they can say hey we will only televise games on sunday if you give us 3 matchups????

But i also want all you people to know that abc and espn are essentially the same...so if you like the games on espn how could you not like abc? lol

I aware that abc and espn are pretty much the same. Espn has games on wednesday and friday nights, occassionally double headers. Nothing beats nba on nbc though, either in amount of broadcasred games but their presentation and pregame buildup is unmatched to this day.

i would agree but you do understand the nba has come along way since then right? back then you didnt have many players that were as marketable as we do today. NBC was one of the FEW selling points the nba had back in those days. now the names on the back of the jerseys mean EVERYTHING.
