Just goes to show how bad the Timberwolves are, seeing as they needed a Zach Lavine stat-padding dunk in the final seconds to even score 90 points

That was like an average dunk by Durant :confusedshrug:

Still a future bust

Towns should be getting a lot more hype than he is. He's the best rookie in the last 5 years.

He's already much better than Wiggins.

Reminds me of Duncan not in the sense that he's his equal but in the sense that his impressive level of play is almost taken for granted.

I don't feel this huge hype and excitement around him even though he's one of the best center prospects to come into the league in the past 20 years.

That was an average dunk. Are we watching the same highlight?

Towns is a beast though. No disrespect.

State champion SR hs in best bball state in country NJ, 38-1 Kentucky best player on team and best player on Twolves including Wiggins by far playing with a young flawed team( no shooters barely)Duncan had top 5 player in Drob plus loaded team wake up please..this kid is the most complete big man to come to NBA in long time..

yeah, and MVP, FMVP, DPOY and the ring as a rookie, right? :lol

Some myths neither seize to amaze me. Timmy had a great team and a GOAT coach from the start, and he wasnt even the best player on the team, DRob was, a great mentor too.

No. The Wolves' problems are systemic. Considering the talent on the roster, the team is underachieving.

I'm actually a very big Towns fan.

But this argument is starting to sound like the Anthony Davis one a few years ago. They are good but they aren't Tim Duncan and likely never will be. I do have very high hopes for Towns though.

The best rookie is Devin Booker

Not the same player, Towns is actually a good face up player all the way out to the top of the key. Long jumpers, drives.

He is not quite Tim Duncan, but he does remind me somewhat of Ewing's offensive arsenal and range. Athletic too.

He can be good, only thing holding him back is the general type of play in the NBA now and that he could have used going to a center college like Georgetown to really learn some moves.

I think some of you need to watch his highlight video thus far insane aray of highlights inside and out mixing polished skill with above average athleticism.

the most impressive thing is he doesnt really have any glaring weakness, for a rookie to have no holes in his game is pretty special. he can rebounds, play defense, block shots, great hands, good shooter, plays hard, can pass, put the ball on the floor...

he does look a bit jumpy out there sometimes, but the game will slow down for him as he matures. hes gonna be a top 5 player in the league eventually.
