Dirk > AD > LMA

Anthony Davis stats are "empty", but the Pelicans have only won one game in which he hasn't played in this season.

They are 16-22 with him.

23/10>17/7.

Davis is the better player.

For the n'th time: Who cares what the Pelicans' and the Mavs' record is? Does this mean that the Mavs are better through players 1-12? Do whole teams play in ASG's? :facepalm
Point is, AD is a better player than today's Dirk, and pretty comfortably so. This isn't going to change any longer, barring something serious happening to Davis.

I would LOVE to see Dirk in the ASG, but not at the expense of AD.

Dirk should've replaced LMA if anything.

Davis deserves to be an all-star.

Aldridge didn't deserve it this year. The record should play a part in the selection process, but the Spurs are much better when Aldridge is on the bench. He has the second worst on-off court numbers on his team.

Dirk has similar stats and the best on-off court numbers on his team (only Wes is close). The Mavs without Dirk are as successful as the Pelicans without Davis (around -5 NetRtg). Davis has the third best on-off court numbers on his team after Anderson and Holiday.

Rule of thumb: if you're on the cover of NBA 2K, you make the all-star team
(unless you're Derrick Rose, he's an outlier)
